A young woman, or what appeared to be a young woman, walked the hallways between the businesses of the town. A bright combination of citrus and pomegranate blended with muguet, jasmine, and sandalwood drifted on the occasional breeze that drifted through the passageways from the fragrance of her oiled skin. Short, silver, hair carried a shine from the sun, pale blue eyes still possessing the verticle pupils due to her being an albino kitsune. If the shape of the pupil was tampered with in any way while shifting, she'd be blind. She wore a white, somewhat of traditional-dress, outfit. Around the waist was tied the sleeves of a black top while the bottom half wore a pair of black hakama over the white ones. She was actually barefoot, the pads of the feet being cat like, which didn't seem to affect the humans that passed her. Strange. Well, this was obviously some type of realm for sure. Interesting, indeed. Well, if a kitsune who was in a human form but obviously not human didn't scare them, they must be used to visitors of her nature or inhabitants. That idea was very appealing. A place where she could belong again.
Shitayama Mahoutsukai had been banished from the Shitayama Clan for having joined in a rebelion against a past Japanese government. Members of the Shitayama Clan were forbidden to join in a fight of the humans or in a war where it is kistune vs kitsune. The first of the clan had set down endless tradition and laws stating that members of the clan were to help humans and the forest live in peace... although humans rarely even believed in kitsune anymore. They slowly vanished from view, humans hunting even the good and kind ones. Due to that exact occurance, a kunai holster was strapped on the lower back region, right ankle, left arm, and thigh. The skills needed to throw the daggers seemed to come naturally ever since her youth and therefore a natural selection for a weapon choice. The residents of the town didn't seem to notice the weapons, either. Appealing, indeed.
Oh, but what was this? People started rushing past her, talk of a strange girl. Ah. It was probably a gaijin of some kind, tumbled down the fox hole. In her graceful nature, Mahoutsukai headed for the commotion, then she heard the odd language known as English. Ah ha. A European or an American.
"Oi. Child. I speak English. What is it that you need?" she said, villiagers parting as she walked up, stopping about four feet from the child. She looked young, and she was kitsune. Hm.
(I know, I used it once before. But, waste not, want not. ^_~)
