Read the article at Variety.

It made me smile because it says: Jones pitched the project to Lionsgate several months ago and recently turned in a script that explores how Bateman would fare in modern-day Gotham.

The multifandom fest for fanfiction with dark themes has just opened for prompt submission. We're looking for prompts in any fandom that will give a writer a chance to tell a dark and twisted tale. This is a fest about difficult subject matter, moral ambiguities, unhappy endings, no win scenarios, secrets, lies and shames, psychological messes, a look into the void, bad deeds, bad thoughts, bad decisions, twists of the canon mood or themes, pure evil, or good intentions paving the road to hell.

Prompt submission is open now until February 14th.
Prompt claiming runs from February 15th - February 25th, with finished fics due by April 8th.

Oh well, better late than never, I guess...Hope Pat had a nice month. :) Hope all the members of this comm are doing alright. Greetings.

A couple of us at meat_and_bones started a casual sort of RP opportunity using Twitter and I thought maybe some of you would be interested. I'll copy what I wrote over there:

The premise is simple: role-playing characters from American Psycho using Twitter. The idea is that everyone has a separate person, like Price, Luis, Det. Kimball, Bethany, Jean, etc. etc. and you create a new, unique Twitter account for that character. Then, you update your Twitter as much or little as you like, as if you were that person going about your day. The idea is that we all 'follow' each other on Twitter and respond to each other's tweets and stuff. Hope that all made sense :)

We have two characters already going:

Sean Bateman -- http://twitter.com/sean_bateman

If you wanna get involved with this just make your character's account and respond here. If you want to remain anonymous as to whom you play, that's cool just contact Patrick Bateman (me) on Twitter and I'll add you to this list lol :D I hope a lot of you participate!!!

Also if you don't want to RP but just want to interact with the characters as yourself, that's cool too ;)
