We plan to use this funding to guarantee our pool of game dev grants, support annual event production, and invest in other valuable forms of programming for our community such as livestreams featuring game devs of color and local meetups.

About

Our mission is to amplify the creative power held by people of color in games. We do this by organizing revolutionary events, uniting our vibrant community, and building access to knowledge, funding, and opportunities. Creators of color make great games but are often pushed to the margins. We fight to create a better games industry that is intersectional and equitable. Game Devs of Color, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our annual event, Game Devs of Color Expo, celebrates and empowers game creators of color around the world. All donations are tax-deductible.
