찌르레기류(Starlings)는 참새목 찌르레기과(Sturnidae)에 속하는 조류의 총칭이다. 상당수 아시아 종, 특히 대형 종들은 쇠찌르레기류(mynah)로 불리며, 아프리카 종들은 무지개빛을 띄는 깃털때문에 무지개찌르레기류(glossy starling)로 불리고 있다. 구대륙 토착종인 찌르레기류는 유럽, 아시아와 아프리카에서부터 오스트레일리아 북부와 열대 태평양 제도까지 분포한다.
