The GNSS data processing software package we have developed is used to analyze recorded signal power and daily two-frequency phase measurements, as well as to calculate the total electron content and map the data. The results of the study show that during powerful solar flares X2.2 and X9.3 on September 6 the median value of the total electron content, calculated for the Volga Federal District, increased up to 0.25 TECU and 0.6 TECU respectively. At that time, the region of interest (40°–55° E) was sunlit. The prolonged magnetic storms on September 8 also generated noticeable ionospheric disturbances up to 0.2 TECU. At the same time, neither the solar flares nor the magnetic storms had a significant eff...

These modules are appreciably cheaper than the professional GNSS devices available on the market. Using a Xiaomi Mi 8 android smartphone equipped with a dual-frequency GNSS module BCM47755 and an original GNSS receiver based on the u-blox ZED-F9P module raw GNSS data were recorded. For carrying out a comparison study the data obtained by the IGS KZN2 station equipped with the Trimble Alloy professional geodetic GNSS receiver and the Trimble TRM 59800 antenna were used as reference. Results of comparison analysis of technical characteristics of these modules for solving the problem of total electron content obtaining of the ionosphere by the measurements of two-frequency phase combinations at frequencies mathrmL1+mathrmL2\mathrm{L}1+\mathrm{L}2mathrmL1+mathrmL2 and mathrmL1+mathrmL5\mathrm{L}1+\mathrm{L}5mathrmL1+mathrmL5 are described in the paper.

Special attention is paid to meteorological service and environmental monitoring of the environment. It is shown that the main parameters of the atmosphere, such as percentage of daily mean of water vapor density, the average daily course of the water vapor height scale, the heterogeneity of the water vapor, can be obtained through the method of sensing the atmosphere by GNSS radio signals.

Research paper thumbnail of Towards the azimuthal characteristics of ionospheric and seismic effects of "Chelyabinsk" meteorite fall according to the data from coherent radar, GPS and seismic networks

It is shown, that 6-14 minutes after the bolide explosion, GPS network observed the cone-shaped wavefront of TIDs that is interpreted as a ballistic acoustic wave. The typical TIDs propagation velocity were observed 661+/-256m/s, which corresponds to the expected acoustic wave speed for 240km height. 14 minutes after the bolide explosion, at distances of 200km we observed the emergence and propagation of a TID with spherical wavefront, that is interpreted as gravitational mode of internal acoustic waves. The propagation velocity of this TID was 337+/-89m/s which corresponds to the propagation velocity of these waves in similar situations. At EKB SuperDARN radar, we observed TIDs in the sector of azimuthal angles close to...
