Career satisfaction as a variable is an important aspect to the employee because this factor decides the professional satisfaction, inherent satisfaction and work satisfaction of an employee on the whole. Satisfied employees perform well in their job and achieve better productivity. Employee satisfaction and its contributing factors are very significant to most organisations because higher productivity will ensure better revenue to the organisation.

Art is viewed as a medium of their expression to perceive and facilitate the thought process. Emotionally healthy person can understand and cope with stress and adapt to change with the circumstances. The emotional balance enables an individual to identify the heart's desires, take affirmative actions, and make changes in life devoid of worries, stress, and lead life with vision, inspired action, and an inner state of creativity. Using purposive sampling method 60 incarcerated women were selected from prisons by obtaining permission from the concerned authorities. These women were the sole bread winners for their families, and their imprisonment orphaned their children and elderly parents who are dependent on them. Energy Healing techniques are considered as one of the age-old practices dating its origin back t... more Energy Healing techniques are considered as one of the age-old practices dating its origin back to the ancient scriptures, to be precise much earlier than those. Scientific technology has been incorporated on a small scale into these in recent decades, beginning in the twentieth century. Even in the twenty-first century, little progress has been made in this area. This literature review is an eye-opener for the world to get familiarized with various energy healing techniques and their basic functionality. The various technical devices used for the detection and treatment of the biofield are depicted in brief in this review. The modalities in which Artificial Intelligence is used in various energy healing techniques are introduced here. The review culminates with a note on the future scope of the Energy Healing techniques on a wider horizon incorporating Artificial Intelligence wherever necessary.

Visible menopause symptoms are absent with little hormonal changes during pre-menopause. Perimenopause is the transitional period which is a slow process from normal to no menstrual periods at all, which often takes up to 10 years. In menopause, ovarian development of estrogen decreases significantly, and this results in painful effects such as hot flashes, nausea, exhaustion, etc. Another common symptom is brain fog: a mostly temporary state of diminished mental capacity marked by an inability to concentrate or to think or reason. The study intends to analyze brain fog differences in perimenopausal women between the ages of 37 and 50 following two different diets. The sample consisted of 100 women; 50 were lacto-vegetarians and 50 were lacto-nonvegetarians, and in the same group 50 were homemakers and 50 were employed women. It also measures social intelligence of the students, with regard to their flexible locus of control. The sample includes 120 college students (60 boys and 60 girls) under study. To get the sample of students with flexible locus of control, Locus of Control (LOC-Scale) Scale developed by Rotter (1966) was used. The tool used for measuring social intelligence was Social Intelligence Scale (SIS) by Chadda and Ganesh (2001). Pearson’s product moment correlation analysis used found that there is no significant relationship between social intelligence and flexible locus of control of college students. Th... more Breast and tongue cancer is been increasingly seen in the middle age people in current decade. The aim of this research study is to understand the difference between the quality of life of breast and tongue cancer patients.. The sample is been collected with from the different palliative care units in northern parts of Kerala. 5 breast cancer patients and 5 tongue cancer patients were studied in detail with their quality of life. The results from the whole sample showed that there are differences and similarities between the samples. The similarities in the cancer patients was both the breast and tongue cancer patients reported about their children settlement issues, fear of chances of relapse. The differences was seen in the breast and tongue cancer patients was, the tongue cancer patients was more worried about their body image issues than the breast cancer patients and tongue cancer patients who are of male gender reported that as they are the head of the household they are so much worried about the financial crisis that is been happening in their family.

Adolescence is a period of rapid physical and psychological development that enables the youths i... more Adolescence is a period of rapid physical and psychological development that enables the youths in developing new attitudes, values, interests and self-identity. This is also a stage of storm and stress where self-esteem and emotion regulation play a crucial role in the life of an individual. The present study examined the difference and relationship between self-esteem and emotion regulation among school adolescents. This is a cross sectional, bivariate, ex post facto, research. The sample is among 243 students with the age range of 13-16 years, accounting 112 females (46%) and 131 males (54%) selected randomly from private schools in Chennai city. The assessment tools included Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale ( R o s e n b e r g , 1 9 6 5 ) a n d D i f c u l t i e s i n E m o t i o n R e g u l a t i o n S c a l e -D E R S w i t h s i x dimensions (Victor&Klonsky, 2016). The t-test and one way ANOVA tests were used to nd the difference in self-esteem and emotion regulation in relation to demographic variables. Pearson's Correlation Coef cient was used to nd the relationship between self-esteem and emotion regulation.The results showed no signi cance difference in self-esteem and emotion regulation with respect to gender, family type, occupation of the father and mother, birth order and family income.Pearson's correlation analysis showed that there is a negative signi cant relationship between self-esteem and emotion regulation (p< 0.01).

The art form chose as an intervention for this study was Tanjore Painting and these paintings are known for their surface richness, vivid colours, compact composition and especially the glittering gold foils used to give the paintings their rich look. The art programme was conducted by arranging several sessions enabling them to learn and develop art form. After learning the art in depth interview techniques was used to obtain data, Thematic analysis of the responses on art therapy gave rise to four broad themes as Mindful practice; Clarified feelings; Catharsis and Explore relationships.

This study examines the Family Environment, Job Stress and Emotional Regulation among Loco pilots of Indian Railway. For the present study 70 Loco pilots were taken from different parts of the country through Exponential Non discriminative Snowball Sampling. The study findings indicated that there is a significant relationship between Family Environment, Job Stress and Emotional Regulation. The prediction model was statistically significant between Family Environment, Emotional Regulation and Job Stress.

Adolescence is the period of transition from child hood to adulthood, where there are various changes in all the areas of life, which may have impact on adolescent's life. Correlation within group design was used to study Emotional Maturity and General Wellbeing of Adolescents". Self-report questionnaires, and PGI General Well-being Measure and Emotional maturity scale were administered to 300 higher secondary students aged between 15-18years. Result of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between emotional maturity and general well-being of adolescents.

Results revealed that there is significant difference in social intelligence of boys and girls. However, no significant difference was found between flexible locus of control of boys and girls. The study revealed yet other interesting observations and findings that endeavour scope for further research in this topic.

The sample of the study comprised of 120 students 60 men and 60 women. Emotional maturity was measured using Emotional Maturity Scale (EMS) developed by Dr. Yashvir Singh and Dr. Mahesh Bhargava and happiness was measured using Oxford Happiness Questionnaire developed by Peter Hills and Michael Argyle. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze socio-demographic details of the sample and inferential statistics like Pearson"s correlation coefficientand independent sample t-test were used to analyze the data. The result of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between emotional maturity and happiness among emerging adults. Women are more emotionally mature than men and there is no significant difference in happiness among men and women.

Non experimental descriptive research design was used to explore the pattern and addictive behavior of mobile phone use among youth. To elicit the response, a questionnaire consists of 30 items were administered among randomly selected 200 college youth between the age group of 18to 25years. Descriptive and inferential statistics was used to test the hypothesis and the findings indicated that the college going youth have high level of mobile phone addiction.
