TShe couldn't help it. The poor thing was wet and shivering and it was ASKING her to take it home. So Alphonse Elric picked up the small thing and made her own whimpering noise in response to the soft mew she received. How could someone just leave such a cute little thing outside to fend for itself? Well she couldn't

It was fluffy white, even through the dirt and grime she could tell and she snuggled it to her chest as she moved down the street with it in her inside jacket pocket. Cooing soft words and noises to it as she went up the stairs of their flat in Central.

Naturally Edward and Winry were still sleeping. It was much to early for them to notice Al as she slipped in through the front door and rushed down the hall. But when she rounded the corner into the Kitchen, so hell bent on getting the kitten clean, she hadn't realized that the other occupant would most likely be up. Alfons Heiderich.

He was seated at the kitchen table with the paper out and open. Most likely looking at the culinary section. A cup of coffee and a plate with a half eaten danish sat next to it. And she almost thought she could get by when a floor board squeaked under her feet. And the said man with his glasses on snapped his head up to look at her.

Those blue eyes that seemed to still be smoky in the morning blinked at her for a moment. Not noticing the small bulge that came from her coat. "Oh good morning Miss Aru! how was your walk?' And before she could say anything, her coat talked for her. A soft muffled mew. And Al's eyes widened in response, as well as Alfons'.

She couldn't help but bit her lip and turn her head away a bit. Did he hear it? "Oh um well I have something I need to-" But Alfons was up and standing before she could finish. And she took a step back as he took one forward.

Another one back, and one forward.

Another one forward, and one backward.

Until her lower back hit the counter and she was trapped. Would he take the kitten and make her let it loose outside? she couldn't do that! But before she could register that Alfons actually had the same weakness as her, the kitten jumped out of her coat and into his arms.

"S-sorry Heiderich-san!" And she went to reach for it the small thing but she slipped and Alfons reached out to catch her, bring her to his chest on insctinct. The little kitten nestled safely between them. Both parties looked on in complete shock, too frozen to move, let alone say anything.

So when Ed and Winry had decided to walk in at that very moment they both blinked, looked at each other and then grinned as they looked at the pair in front of them.

A wide grin was on Eds face and he put a hand on Alfons shoulder. "If was about time!" While Winry laughed and poked Al's back.

"Well you two have fun, don't make too much of a mess in here..." Ed said as he grabbed Winry arm and pulled her out of the kitchen. They both laughed all the way back to their room.

But both Al and Alfons looked on in complete horror. Both red in the face and stuttering apologies as they immediately broke apart. The kitten taking to jumping onto the counter.

They both spoke at the same time. "We probably should-" Al blushed and tried again. But AGAIN, they spoke at the same time. "You go first-"

And it was Alfons who turned and started the water in the sink, adding just a bit of soup with that warm smile, and blushing cheeks. That all Al did was simply stare at the site, until he spoke up. Causing her to come out of her daze.

"Could you get a towel Aru. please?" That tone, it made her heart go straight into her fee. And she nodded and went off to get it.

Coming back with it and setting it on the counter. And she could see that he had already started washing the small thing and Al grinned. "I knew she was white!"

A low chuckle from Alfons, "Well.. SHE is actually a HE." And Al nodded to that. But that wasn't what she was really paying attention to. That chuckle had caused goose bumps to form on her neck and down her back..

Her eyes traced over his back and saw how the thin white shirt moved as the muscles contracted and retracted. How his hips moved back and forth as a low hum was coming from his throat. And she found at that very moment why Ed and Winry had said that. Her face turned a bright red.

And before she knew was happening Alfons had already lifted the small kitten out of hate sink and was drying him. Whispering small little german phrases that made her hair stand on end. She loved hearing him speak in that foreign tongue. In her dreams it was said with a panted breathe while he ran his hands up her--

"Al?"He was blinking at her and she squeaked as she brought back to reality.

"YES!" Her face was red and Alfons put the small thing down on the table and put a hand on her forehead. "You feel warm, would you like me to make some tea and you can lay down?"

Light, why did he have to be so...so.. PERFECT?! And that hand, on her forehead. Her eyes closed and she whispered it. It just came out with out her really knowing it. "I've fallen..."

"you've fallen? what do you mean Aru?" He looked at her a bit confused and concerned. Those blue eyes looking into her gray ones when hers opened.

And it was at that moment she moved. Because she just couldn't STOP herself. Grabbing his shirt collar and pulling his face down to her so she could place a deep kiss on those lips that she had been eying for sometime. Wondering how they tasted and felt.

Blueberries and Soft. She made a mental note.

She was about to pull away when she felt a pair of arms go around her. And those lips of his, hovering and whispering. "Liebe.." Before he kissed her and pulled her closer.

And that's how Ed and Winry found them a few minutes later.
