Uniqueness and rarity of the lesion is evident from the literature. Here we are presenting a case report of dentinogenic ghost cell tumor which clinically presented as an asymptomatic gingival swelling in the maxillary anterior region along with its diagnosis, management and review of literature

In this category sqamous cell carcinoma is the most common malignancy seen, poor survival rate has been associated with these cases because most of them present in their advance stages as in these seen cases the symptoms may be nonspecific and remain indolent for months or years, leading to delay in diagnosis and consequently present as at advanced diseased stage. Hence, it is important that the clinicians should be aware of the sinus pathologies, to diagnose these malignancies at an early stage. Here we report a case of sqamous cell carcinoma originating from ethmoid sinus extending into bilateral nasal cavities, orbits, and maxillary sinuses.

From computers to smartphones, from single purpose to multipurpose devices, technology has become an intrinsic part of our daily routine. Navigation in surgery is an important example of today’s technological capabilities being applied to medicine. It has emerged as one of the most reliable representatives of technology as it continues to transform surgical interventions into safer and less invasive procedures. In surgery, navigation has spurred technical progress, enabled more daring procedures, and unlocked new synergies. What was once a simple localization tool has evolved into a centerpiece of technology in the surgical theater.

It is a slow growing tumor and has a low metastatic potential, it accounts for 70–80% of all cutaneous malignancies in the head face and neck region .Defects near nasal tip and ala of the nose are one of the most difficult site to cover in a single stage, bilobed flap is reported to be used very effectively to close the defect in these areas. This article reports a case of basal cell carcinoma involving the ala of the nose which was excised and the reconstruction was done using bilobed flap.

However, despite the frequency of these tumours, their pathogenesis is often incompletely understood and so the management of these lesions still remains controversial. Advances in imaging techniques and novel therapeutic approaches, have altered our understanding of this common problem and the way we approach it. We present a case of vascular malformation of the upper lip and labial mucosa that was surgically treated at our centre. Intraoral mucosal flap were advanced for primary closure of the defect. Postoperative phase was uneventful, six month follow up shows no recurrence of the lesion.

Structural and developmental abnormalities of the tongue in various forms have been reported in isolation or in combination with various syndromes. Though cases of bifid tongues have been mentioned in literature, no reports of pentafid tongue have been reported till date. Here we describe a unique case of congenital pentafid tongue along with bilateral polydactyly and its surgical management.

Size of the displaced epithelial fragment is a crucial factor for the development of the mucous cyst. Complete resection of the mucous cyst is the ideal treatment. Surfing through the literature we came across 18 cases of mucous cyst formation following nasal surgery. Here we describe a mucous cyst which had resulted from a rhinoplasty procedure the patient had undergone earlier in her life.

Reports of facial bone lesions are rare, and when it occurs, is usually located in the mandible. Herein, this report is aimed to describe a very rare case of an aneurysmal bone cyst in the zygoma with a brief review of the literature.

Its incidence is rare in the jaws and mandible is more affected than the maxilla. Surgery with complete removal of the lesion is the most adequate treatment. It occurs predominantly in the second decade, with a tendency for malignant transformation by age. There have been very few reported cases of osteomas located on the ramus of mandible. Here we present a case of osteoma on ramus of mandible along with review of literature.
