i'm a dude and i'm not relaly cuervy kinda angly or pointy on the sides, swelly on the arms, but i htink curvy girls rock so i hoep thats ' ok taht i'm here

i'm aweosme nand i love it
my favourite story is the 4th story at my work cuz taht's payroll at my work lol i dunno does fievl goes west count as a story? america's cool

Hi my name is Victoria Just came across this community while searching through LJ :)
Eeeee you are all so pretty it's nice to see some chix and nice clothes out there that aren't all bangley and snappy twig bodied :)
Anyway umm not really sure what else to say will post some stuff up if i ever have anything interesting to say :)

I have a friend 
mistress_razor who is currently selling a pretty black corset on ebay if anyone is interested, she lost alot of weight which unfortunately means her corset doesn't fit properly anymore but she wants it to go to a good home im sure i can get her to post to the USA too if i ask nicely *giggles* :)

What is Beautiful?
Beautiful what brings you happiness. Beautiful is what is good.
When you think of "beautiful" what comes to mind?
When I think of beautiful I think of laughter.
What do you see in your mind?
I see a small, young girl, smiling at the world, not scared to be who she is. Who'll wear polka dots with stripes or all yellow and think nothing of it. Who thinks it's 'beautiful', so she shares it.
What experiances come to mind?
Laughing with my friends, real laughter, the kind you cant fake. The kind that you feel your gut splitting and cant stop. the kind that doesnt make you feel empty, but whole. The kind of laughter that makes you whole.
What is a synonym for "beauty" in your own vocabulary?
loveliness
What kind of picture would you draw to explain "beauty" to a four year old?
I would draw people laughing. I would draw a rainforest. I would draw people dancing in the rain, and a mother and her daughter.

However, I have decided the time has come for me to wave goodbye.

Just curious ...
Might be a shallow question, but where's everyone's fave place to shop for plus-size clothing and why??
I would have to say Lane Bryant. LB has a lot of fashionable clothing made to fit my body-type. I'm big and tall. A lot of places tailor to the big part and omit the tall. That, or if you're tall, you must be really tiny. It doesn't always work that way. LB uses both. They are also more "appropriate" when it comes to my age. I'm 20 and I get so tired of finding plus-size clothes that look like potato sacks. Seriously, you can walk through most stores and, without reading tags or signs, tell that you're in the plus section.

You know, this is a good question. One that I can answer with more than one post.
What is Beautiful?
Humanity is beautiful. Even with all of its flaws and quirks. It never ceases to amaze me how billions of people are each unique. How our emotions can cause the slightest shift in the universe. For me, being human and learning all of the emotions that come along with it is a true journey for me in this life. I've got all the spiritual acheivement I will ever need because I came to this earth to learn about being human. I've thought about taking my psychology degree to a different level of study - anthropology the study of humans.
When you think of "beautiful" what comes to mind?
First image is my daughter :) Second would be nature. A field full of wildflowers dancing in the wind. Autumn. Hanging laundry on the line to dry.
What do you see in your mind?
My daughter smiling and being happy. People being content to just 'be' in their lives instead of trying so hard to change. Talking to mother earth.
What experiances come to mind?
Watching my daughter grow. Seeing the grand canyon for the first time. Seeing my niece for the first time. My daughter smiling for the first time (it was actually a giggle). Finding a true soul to be your life long friend.
What is a synonym for "beauty" in your own vocabulary?
This is hard. Breath taking.

I would probably go for a nature picture.

Great idea for a community!
Just cause I'd like to say it, I'm curvy and proud :-p lol.
In this country, and a good part of the richer countries in the world seem to think that being stick thin is a wonderful thing. Men tend to like curvier women. Hell, even curves can be healthy to a degree. Being underweight certainly is not.
