okay okay story time. I had a friend come over for "art therapy day" and he wanted to try acrylic painting for the first time. Disclaimer: I have not touched acrylic painting for like....6 years? 8? A long time, anyway. I decided to challenge myself, though, and not only finish the painting in one sitting, but have it be something that I could be proud of.
I have also never painted a seascape before! I think it looks better from faraway, or in a thumbnail, than it does up close, but oh well. 
(a lot of firsts today ><)
Anyway, here it is! The canvas is 16x20", I think.
Characters are from my book series, Tales of the Fatherless.
