Why do Fridays in Summer always seem so long. Especially rainy Fridays when there really isn't anyone in the office. I've been ready to go since ten a.m. and I've still got at least another half-hour here. Tonight the plan is to watch Brad Pitt kill Nazis. Why? Why not. It's Brad Pitt. Killing Nazis. With a hillbilly accent. Every time I see the preview, I get giddy. Then tomorrow may or may not be the dome party depending on weather (though I call for a pre-party dinner no matter what). And of course, both those activities will be followed by crazy chat time. Cause you know it's just not a proper weekend until you've sat up til 4:30 in the morning arguing bits of canon, digging out books for references, and having cracky in chat meta times. :P (LURVE YOU ALL).Though right now, I just wanna go home. Or rather, to the mall. As long as I'm out of this office, I'll be fine.See, Cede! I can do this. Pfft!

Look what I finally remembered existed. I need to get back to updating this. But to do so means pulling myself away from my ever growing rp world and those of you who know me personally, know how hard that is.Still, I'm going to try to be better about this. I promise. Especially since some fun and exciting things have happened and are happening.Like this past weekend I went to Salem, MA with two of my friends. It's a place I have wanted to visit for years and it did not disappoint. Salem's a beautiful small town, filled not only with spooky old graveyards and museums dedicated to the witch trials. But with little shops of all kinds. It will be no surprise to anyone to learn that my favorite one was Hex. I bought a bunch of stuff there, including some books, a candle, a coffin nail cross, and some really pretty smelling soap (Persephone's Desire). Ashley also got a psychic reading done there, while Gillian had her tarot read at The Magic Parlor. Apparently, next time we journey up there it's my turn.I would have done it this time, but well...I like to shop. :DWe also did a ghost tour, which was AMAZING. Not just for the ghost hunting but also for the interesting tidbits we learned -- like the real life murder that the board game Clue was based on.I can't wait to go back -- possibly around October. Cheesy? Not really. Considering that when the balls take place. And who doesn't like a ball?Tonight's "Bag o' books" day at the SR used book sale. All the books you can stuff into a bag for $12.00. If you're in the area, you should go. You never know what you're going to find.But yeah. First work. Boo.

"Hunting" was on USA the other night. The House, MD episode where House helps the Evil Whore catch the rat that is in her attic. Well, I remember him saying something about there being traces of nicotine in the rat's urine and then mentioning the rat had a brain tumor. Now I know the nicotine was because the Evil Whore blows her smoke up into the vents. But does anyone remember if the smoke caused Steve McQueen's brain tumor?The reason I ask this is we have a mouse in Mia's house. A baby one that likes to dart across the floor and scare the hell out of me while ensuring it only does it when I am looking and no one else so that everyone can think I am insane. But it seems to live on the lower floor. Where everyone smokes. A lot.So are we giving the mouse a brain tumor?The things I ponder in the morning.

I'm getting a new phone. Yay!I had gotten to the point where I could upgrade my phone and since some of the buttons on my current phone don't always want to work so well, I decided to go for it and ordered myself a new one yesterday morning. It should come in the mail tomorrow. :DIn other, but equally exciting news, there's a new Supernatural tonight with JDM! squees a little I love Papa Winchester so hard. And chocolate chip cookies. My panda was talking about chocolate chip cookies in the car this morning and now I have a craving. Do chocolate chip cookies go with Papa Winchester? Hmmmm....Oh! And my sister is out of her mind. She and her friends decided to break into Rosewood Asylum last night. Those of you sitting here going, why does that sound familiar...it's because it's an actual registered haunted place. I won't put the details here (to protect the innocent), but IM me and I'll tell you which one it is.She is CRAZY.Anywho...back to making slides I go. Boo.

So I want to write a series of John/Circe fics that take place within the continuum of the the show (Supernatural). Because I love this pairing and I think it would be extremely interesting to see them set against the current happenings...(And I kind of lost my shit last night at the preview and started screaming "Ask to talk to his hot girlfriend").Problem is...this series would take A LOT of work to get right. A LOT. And that, my friends, is effort.I'd have to set up the history of hell based on Dean's discussion with the demon in "Sin City" which I've mostly done. Lucifer disappeared into the darkness and his three bratlings (Azrael, Circe, and Balthazar) are now "sharing" the throne.I'd have to set up the heirarchy of demons. Black Eyes. Red Eyes. Yellow Eyes. White Eyes. What does it mean. Where do they stand? And what about the trio. They're basically hell gods. What do their eyes do?I'd have to figure out how Yellow-Eyes plays into this. And Sam's calling. And Mary.And Ruby? Where is she in realtion to the royals? Why does she know so much?What about Lillith? What does she hope to gain? And why do the trio of demonic siblings need Sam to stop her?And Dean's deal. Who in this world would hold it?See...LOTS of work. But a potentially awesome series if I could shape it right.And, you know, could believeably write Dean and John. But that might require some co-authoring or at least a REALLY good Beta.Ugh.Help?
