Giver’s Gift
November 1st – December 22nd
The Lakeview East Giver’s Gift Promotion is back for the 28th year, with more businesses than ever before! We will be partially virtual this year, meaning – receipts can be emailed to us or brought into the office. Be sure to collect all your receipts from the neighborhood starting November 1st!
Holiday Tree Lighting
November 18th, 6 to 7 pm
Please join us on Tuesday, November 18th for our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting! We are lighting up a gorgeous tree in front of Chicago staple, Clark Street Dog. Starting at 6 pm, you can meet Santa, enjoy hot cocoa and treats, take photos with costume characters, listen to carolers, and kick off the holiday season with us.
Shoppers Extravaganza and Holiday Treat Stroll
December 6th
Support local merchants! Lakeview East makes it easy to shop this holiday season by offering a one-day discount on local gift cards that are accepted at 200+ businesses. Plus, join us for the annual Holiday Treat Stroll where local merchants hand out treats for folks stopping in!
Purchase gift cards from 11 am – 3 pm on Saturday, December 6th for 25% off! You can stop in the Broadway Chamber office (3138 N. Broadway) to purchase, or purchase online here!

This summer, we are taking it to the streets! Back by EXTREMELY popular demand, Dine Out on Broadway is returning for three weekends of soaking up the summer sun and enjoying dining al fresco. During Dine Out on Broadway, we shut Broadway street down from traffic and it turns into a patio haven. Save the dates and book reservations- tables fill up quickly! We’ll see you outside.
Adopt and Shop
June 14th, 11 am to 2 pm
Adopt and Shop is our furriest and friendliest event of the year! On June 14th, Broadway will be turning into a pet haven. With available dogs on site, booths selling goods for your four-legged bff, and treats galore, we invite you and your cuter half to come wag your tails down Broadway!
Spend the day exploring Broadway—pop into unique local shops, grab a bite at one of the many fantastic restaurants, and take advantage of exclusive discounts and sales happening throughout the event!
Belmont Sheffield Music Festival
May 23-25
One of the first of many Windy City outdoor festivals, this iconic street party in the Lakeview neighborhood takes place just steps from the Belmont El stop. Music highlights of this weekend include main-stage performances by several of the region’s favorite tribute bands. Then there are deejays, karaoke shows, and fun acts that entertain visitors on a second stage. Beyond music, there’s plenty of food, beer, wine, and the handiwork of city and regional artists! Get ready to jam out with us!

Annual Meeting
March 11th 2025, at Tin Roof Wrigleyville
The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting – the must-attend event of the year! This is your opportunity to come together with other business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to celebrate the successes of the past year and discuss our plans for the future. It’s a chance to mingle, network, and connect with everyone in the neighborhood. The 2025 Annual Meeting will be held at Tin Roof in Wrigleyville! Tickets are priced at 25formembersand25 for members and 25formembersand35 for non-members.
Lakeview East Festival of the Arts
September 13th & 14th
The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts is Chicago’s premier fine art festival showcasing over 125 juried artists. The festival has been rated #1 Fine Arts Festival in Chicago, and #2 in the state of Illinois by AFSB. Each year the festival attracts over 45,000 attendees from all around Chicago, northwestern suburbs as well as patrons from all around the country. Every aspect of the festival, from artists to musicians to vendors and everything in between, is specifically selected by the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce in order to bring the best to the heart of Lakeview.
The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts features paintings, sculptures, photography, furniture, jewelry, and more. These original pieces are for sale in a wide range of price ranges. In addition to the art, the Festival has become a center of activity for the weekend with live demonstrations, entertainment stages, family activities, local food and refreshments, and an iconic garden oasis.
Annual Lakeview East Holiday Party
December 17th, 6 to 8 pm
It’s that time of year again – come celebrate the holidays with us at the Lakeview East Holiday Party! We’re bringing the business community together for an evening packed with holiday cheer, great food, and a cozy, festive vibe. Expect to see Buddy the Elf spreading his North Pole magic, along with delicious holiday-themed cocktails and plenty of tasty bites. It’s a chance to unwind, share some laughs, and make memories with friends and fellow business owners as we toast to the season.
Plus, we’ll have some special giveaways and surprises in store – because it wouldn’t be the holidays without a little extra cheer! Space is limited, so grab your ticket, bring your festive spirit, and let’s celebrate the season in true Lakeview East style!
