REGULATION 2022-46

Regional Service Delivery Act
(O.C. 2022-211)
Under section 37 of the Regional Service Delivery Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Regions Regulation – Regional Service Delivery Act.
Definition of “Act”
2In this Regulation, “Act” means the Regional Service Delivery Act.
Regions
3For the purposes of subsection 2(1) of the Act, the regions are described and identified in Schedule A.
Commissions
4For the purposes of subsection 3(1) of the Act, the following commissions are described and identified:
(a)a Commission for region 1 called Northwest Regional Service Commission;
(b)a Commission for region 2 called Restigouche Regional Service Commission;
(c)a Commission for region 3 called Chaleur Regional Service Commission;
(d)a Commission for region 4 called Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission;
(e)a Commission for region 5 called Greater Miramichi Regional Service Commission;
(f)a Commission for region 6 called Kent Regional Service Commission;
(g)a Commission for region 7 called Southeast Regional Service Commission;
(h)a Commission for region 8 called Kings Regional Service Commission;
(i)a Commission for region 9 called Fundy Regional Service Commission;
(j)a Commission for region 10 called Southwest New Brunswick Service Commission;
(k)a Commission for region 11 called Capital Region Service Commission; and
(l)a Commission for region 12 called Western Valley Regional Service Commission.
Commencement
5This Regulation comes into force on January 1, 2023.
