Anybody got a nice sounding mp3 of the wrack pt 3 in stereo?
Robert Moog :We were shocked and saddened to find out that synth pioneer Dr. 'Bob' Moog has fallen ill with an inoperable brain tumor. The impact he alone has had on music and musicians around the world is undeniableWith out him the sound of industrial would not be the same.Image hosted by Photobucket.commore history http://www.obsolete.com/120_years/machines/moog/x-posted

Subject:Einstrurzende Neubautenten meets Skinny Puppy, meets Frontline?? Posted by:xxhadez187xx. Time:11:06 pm. Mood: crazy.
It just dawned on me, I've been listening to alot of Einstrurzende Neubauten ,and just realized that this song "Paradiesseits" was also a title for a Cyberaktif song. Researched it on a whim and what have you! Blixa bargeld from EN collaborated with Bill Leeb! and Cevin Key ,Dwayne Goetell , that is amazing and is the best industrial super group ever, hands down. I always thought that song didnt fit on the Cyberaktif album and didnt think Bill leeb sang it, its was Blixa!
anyone wants to go to the Skinny Puppy koncert in Philly?and lives in boston area?I have an extra ticket,. email me for details.xxhadez187xx@yahoo.com

So I just got the new Front Line Assembly EP and well I really can't say much about it. It's okay. 2 remixes of Vanished and 3 bonus tracks. To be honest it is nothing special. The b-sides are kinda technoy. Specially track 3 very technoish....oh well it is still good. Check it out.
Although Bill is no longer in Skinny Puppy, what are your thoughts on the new album, Greater Wrong Of The Right? BTW, anyone going to the SP concert in Chicago this month? I believe it's on the 15th. Not sure on the details, however.
whats the association between conjure and and the song "youth of the nation" because that comes up a lot on a search..did they write it and POD covered it or what?

Hey folks - since Skinny Puppy is listed as a Community Interest here, I thought you'd like to know that there's an interview.story with Skinny Puppy in the Spring 2004 issue of Asleep By Dawn Magazine. The mag is free, sent free in the mail (USA and Canada only, sorry!) and comes with a free CD as well (featuring Skinny Puppy, The Cruxshadows, Collide, Qntal, and more). Just visit the web site to sign up for a completely free copy!
So, now that Civilization has been out long enough for people to form a solid opinion about it, what do you think? Here's what I wrote in my lj a few days back:"So, I take it I'm in the minority in feeling that Civilization is one of the best albums Front Line Assembly has ever done, and was quite a relief after their last few efforts that left me a tad underwhelmed? A big part of the reason I feel that way is that for the first time they did an album where they left in all the "not typical FLA" stuff that they used to shuttle off to one of their other many side projects instead. I hear Delerium, Noise Unit, and even Synesthesia in the mix, as well as both classic and more modern FLA, resulting in a much more varied and rich sounding album than anything they've done before. I know that many c0re rivets will probably hate it for exactly that reason, but I see that as more of a reflection on their genre-colored glasses than on the album itself. In comparison, the vast majority of other Industrial bands, including many I like such as Suicide Commando and Wumpscut, sound fairly one note and mono-dimensional. The only bands that I don't think suffer in such a comparison are Skinny Puppy and Project Pitchfork, not coincidently another group that many uber-rivets don't consider c0re enough."

So it is finally here!! Civilization. What are your thoughts on it?Personally I think it is amazing. Very different, but when have FLA ever done the same thing twice.
