Subject:'07!!! Only 113 Days To Go M'friends! Posted by:famous_katie. Time:7:12 pm. Mood:bouncy.
So is there a rule about not posting for this year or is it just me going?I'm getting all excited about it today especially because I just got an email from meanfiddler telling me all the extras which are just a whole bunch more of my favourite bands. *squee*Is it just me going lol?x
Trying to sell my two Leeds Saturday day tickets, like desperately!! They've been on ebay 3 times and in the newspaper...how the hell am i goin to sell them?? any suggestions are more than welcome!!
Due to a surprise holiday, I can no longer go to Leeds this year. And so I am forced to sell my 2 Sunday tickets. In case anybody is interested, they're listed HERE. Thanks!
I got my ticket on presale last year... I'm so friggin excited, I was worried after the last couple of years that the line-up wouldnt be great but I was sooooo relieved when it was announced, its gonna ROCK!!
we spent an hour and a half last night clicking refresh on seetickets, ticketswitch and nme to get the tickets. got them in the end.probably not the greatest idea since in 3 weeks and 3 days we will be in £115,000 worth of debt for a house. sod it.house buying isnt gonna stop me... this will be my 6th. i'm on a mission now.

**HOLY MOLY!!! I GOT LEEDS TICKETS!!**THATS RIGHT PEOPLE!!! After been told i could see the grant -and the gerard - and the monkeys -+ dirty pretty things, the futureheads and get to throw hard objects at the kaiser chiefs in my favourite weekend of the year - helen informed me they'd sold out online and we were basically screwed...gutted is not the word...BUUUUUUUUUUT fear not - i got up ridicuolously early and queued at hmv sheffield and got two mother fucking tickets!!!! The hmv staff were laughing at me, i could not keep still - i was sure they were gonna sell the last ticket to the guy in front of me - who i informed i would wrestle for it if it happenned...Good GOD!I so happy you would not believe!!!Sarah***
if anyone hasnt checked www.efestivals.co.uk recently, the rumour list is up... and going on past experience, the strong rumours are (with some exeptions) usually correct....oh by the way, my union at work offers the young members the chance to work in the beer tents! I wouldnt do it for Leeds, cos it would be horrible not being able to walk around like usual, but I'll do it if and when Glasto is back up and running :)
Hello people Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do you have to camp at this festival? Can you just go in there each day? Or is it far away from accommodation. I am from Australia, looking into going next year and trying to find out all I can about it. Also, any idea when tickets will go on sale? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated :)
Hello! (I used to be moohcow but my journal got hacked!)Had a fab time at Leeds, we stayed at the Hilton in Garforth (i know its cheating, but we wanted to make it into a mini holiday since I start full time work in 3 weeks! we'll be back to camping next year!)This was my 5th Leeds and the boy has been every year since it started (thats either 7 or 8 years...) Best bands: Pixies, The Charlatans, The Killers, Graham Coxon and Babyshambles! Oh and the tickertape during Elbow was mad!Best food: The Pataks curry bus definately!!! (Chicken Korma and a naan bread was just what I needed on Sunday afternoon!)Favourite part of the festival: Watching the Pixies and chucking those huge balls about, oh and trying to tell the lad standing on the railings during babyshambles that his shoe was on fire and him not realising and thinking we were crazy! His shoe was on fire twice actually!Worst part of the festival: Why didnt they announce the cricket score? They could have put it on the big screens between bands! Apaprently they did at V?
Just thought I'd warn everyone that it looks like the weather is going to be pretty crappy for the weekend, I live about 20 miles away from the site & we've had rain & strong winds all week, so pack those waterproofs... hopefully I'll be proved wrong though :)
The weather forecast for Thursday and Friday looks wet and cold. :( And I don't own a pair of wellies (over here they were little more than an annoying fashion fad). Are they easy to find over there? I mean, if it pours, can I buy them at the supermarket or something?I was also wondering, when do they release the schedule? Thanks from a festy virgin. :)
Hi I was at Leeds Fest last yr it was bloody brilliant, I'm away this yr can't go :( but make sure you all check out Two Gallants on Saturday, they're a really cool band, lovely guys and are going to be big.

Livejournal drinking anyone? Myself and Jazzyjools and some other non LJ types will be in attendance. If you see our flag: drop by for a beer! Our tents are usually positioned to the right of the slight slope you have to walk down to get to the campsites :)
