Past

Gabriel Boyle

Current Position

Biography

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where I maintained a blissful ignorance of what other “real” cities allegedly felt like. My college years were spent at Ohio State University where I graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience. After graduation, I decided it would be in my best interest to pursue some additional laboratory experience in order to better direct the future of my studies prior to committing to a graduate program.

I took the opportunity to see if there was more to the world than cornfields and crime and my girlfriend and I moved to Minneapolis during the summer of 2015. After almost a full year of working in a restaurant downtown (by choice, mostly) I accepted a position as a research assistant in the Lesné Lab. I currently reside in Seward where I enjoy lounging on my porch with my cat (and sometimes girlfriend), taking excessively long bike rides, and exploring the wide variety of restaurants scattered throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul.
