dygitalgirl: The losing battle
So, I lost the battle against chocolate donuts not once, but twice today.
I stopped at the store and bought donuts for my kiddo, course he only wanted one or two but I bought four. Came home and had a donut before I climbed into bed. He ate his and there was one evil chocolate donut left when I woke up, so of course I had to make it go away...
*sigh*
I gotta stop doing that.

154.5/149.5/130 5 pounds down, 19.5 to go.
Well, it's more like...
154.5/150.5/130
Weight I was/Weight I am/Weight I wanna be
So, right now I am really trying to convince myself that that pound I've gained back since the 27th is not chocolate donut or fast food related, that it is infact building muscle.
Riiiiight.

Oh man, a donut sounds good right now...
My scale is still packed, so I have no idea what I weigh, and I'm nervous to find out! I've been eating like crap ever since the kitchen got packed, which was almost three weeks ago now! Ugh.

Whatever you do...
Don't unpack the scale!
Well, I have a nasty habit of climbing on it everyday, and I am told that defeats the purpose.
Yet another thing I need to change, it was working fine when I hid the scale in a closet and then I'd be too lazy to go get it.
:D
I know the feeling. We haven't been eating very healthy lately. I loaded up on healthy cookbooks a few months ago and most of them have become dust bunny refugee camps. Not to mention that it is expensive to eat healthy sometimes.
*sigh*
Whats a girl to do when all I can afford is hamburger meat and boxes of hamburger helper?

Well hamburger meat doesn't have to be bad, just get the stuff that has the least fat in it. And you can buy veggies and seasonings and make other things then hamburger helper.
Though I'm just as bad really.
Though I haven't been able to get any food for sometime now. I would love to hit a grocery store and get good to eat things.
Tuna is a cheap yummy food. YOu can do all sorts of things with. Or get beef strips that have little fat. Or chicken! thats always healthy. Fish is good and if you have a cosco card you can get a whole bag of indavidualy wrapped pieces of salmon and they're really good and last forever.

Yeah, you're right.
I think my issue is finding things to feed my husband and kiddo that they like and that leaves me very little room to worry about what *I* need to eat to be healthy. I know it can be done, and I know it can be affordable, I just have to pay attention, and I am bad at paying attenting when food is involved.
I like tuna, but my son hates it. I'll have to work on that though cause it is really cheap. And I load up on the boneless skinless chicken breasts everytime Smiths has them on sale. So I am off to a start!
