a great movie about how annoying it is to date men
Turns out the hardest mountain for Alex to climb...was love
Nah jk it was that giant fuckin cliff
White people are fucking crazy bro
I honestly feel like if this guy didn’t climb rocks, he’d be a serial killer.
the most stressful part of this movie was trying to figure out why these two people are dating
Ugh, hell yes. Alex Honnold is one of the most interesting people alive. I’ve been interested in him before this movie so I was automatically going in pretty excited. This doc did such a great job at tapping into the psychological impacts his passion has rather than just the “OHH SHIT DUDE YOU COULD DIE”. Very ethical film as well. Overall just felt super engaging and had me doing a lot of thinking. But MAN, he is the shittiest boyfriend of all time lmfao. Maybe my favorite documentary of the year so far.
I lost all the liquid in my body thru my hands
“That is the most magnificent crack in the entire world”
The great thing about cinema is that it allows us to experience things we would never be able to do in real life, like spend more than 5 seconds with this unbearable prick.
i cant stop thinking about how he had to teach himself how to hug at the big age of 23. why did his parents do that to him?? look what you’ve done to him…now he climbs big rocks to feel
ALSO when he drank boiled water STRAIGHT out of a SAUCEPAN??? literally what the fuck! maybe the wildest thing i've ever seen on film
what was more monumental, alex climbing the mountain or alex saying "i love you, i appreciate you"?
how and why have i watched this three times
