"They say stuff like ‘Well ALL lives matter...' Really? Semantics? That would be like if your wife came up to you and was like, 'Do you love me?’ and you were like, 'Baby, I love everybody.'" -Che,

My favorite part of SNL, although I like almost everything about SNL recently.

Che's goal in this special was clearly how uncomfortable he would make his own audience in this comedy piece. Which creates a show with a few really funny jokes and then a few tasteless jokes that could have been presented a little better.

He really is an original with his comedy and the comedic style is exactly how he wants it to be. And it's sure to make a lot of people cringe, but comedy depends on your own taste and I'm more above average about this, because the humor is overall good.

And Che knows that his humor creates a little friction in the same way Chappelle does, and he tries to create a sense of discomfort with it, and he succeeds. overall fine comedy seasoned with too much salt.👌

Okay, the trans stuff is not cool. And the worst part is the beginning of the joke is "I stopped using the word t****y" and then he proceeds to use it several more times, AND use it in the punchline of the joke. Very very uncool. And he sets up the joke by saying his trans friend told him the word was hurtful. Like are you really that ignorant and rude? Please don't do that.

Why, with so many comedians, comedians who are funny, do they feel they need to do offensive stuff? I'm not laughing when I'm offended. And the worst part is, he knows he's being offensive because a close friend of him told him he was.

There's also a part of his act where he makes fun of a woman being catcalled. Just gross.

I have to drop like 2 stars off my rating because of this. It's ridiculous.

Laughter is the best medicine but tonight I wasn't feeling up to it. I'll need to fill up my prescription some other day. Peace out. Goodnight!

I love everybody.

the jokes about race and religion are funny but there’s way too much misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia.

if your friend tells you that a slur is hurtful to them and their community maybe don’t use it as a punchline??

I don’t really like Che because of his subject matter or the fact that his takes are especially hot: I just think he’s a weird dude. He talks and I cannot relate to one single part of anything he’s saying but I cannot stop watching because he’s just weird and bizarre and you would never expect that type of quirkiness from a modern day black comedian, if I’m being honest. I’ve watched all of his interviews on late night, especially with Jost, and Jost being this classic, fresh-faced, well-mannered american boy while Che is just positively and unashamedly who he is even if it makes him look bad from time to time... it’s just a fascinating dynamic. He’s sort of…

Some decent insight on and clever jokes about BLM but otherwise falls into single hetero male joke cliches too often.
