The study revealed that IPSAS implementation is currently about 40% at the CAGD as at 2022, eight years after
implementation in 2014. Furthermore, the study identified some benefits of IPSAS to include standardisation in accounting and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability, producing credible reports and enhancing comparability among countries. Notwithstanding the benefits outlined, the study found a number of challenges that could stale the smooth implementation of IPSAS. The dominant challenges of the IPSAS implementation are cost, lack of adequate funding, staff resistance to change and incompatibility of IPSAS to IT infrastructure. The study
recommends that there should be enhanced monitoring and evaluation to ensure all Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) and Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) effectively report on all public funds in compliance with the Public Financial Management (PFM) Act.

This study used quantitative research technique with a sample size of 399 respondents. A closed ended type of questionnaire was used and also a convenience sampling technique was adopted. Findings of this study provided the evidence that advertisement has a weak positive relationship on consumer brand preference with respect to sachet water. The result of this study is due to the fact that advertisement raises awareness with relation to brand preference of sachet water rather than stimulating action. Subsequently, from the experience of researchers, a first-hand information was realized as to consumers being willing to participate in individual research projects and several of them expressed a desire to read the final results of the study.
