In the 1920s Cleveland, OH was an epicenter of modern artistic thought. The Cleveland Salon, 1920-1924 features work from painter William Sommer, poet Hart Crane, architect William Lescaze, and theater designer Richard Rychtarik. Featuring items from Kelvin Smith Library’s Hart Crane Collection, this exhibit shows how these artists influenced each other and their impact on national and international styles. Kelvin Smith Library Special Collections will host this exhibit, curated by Lawrence Waldman, Ph.D., from September 23, 2024 through December 6, 2024.
