The Rise of Lilith

Like the Golden Phoenix she is reborn from the ashes of destruction.

She rises from her long oppression like Phoebus from his sleep to shine light and truth on all the world.

As the Lotus, she spreads her petals and glories in her new found beauty.

Her return was awaited like that of the great fallen republic.

It is celebrated as the coming of Spring after the treacherous Winter.

Some, as Apollo or Adam, would conquer her. Some, as Hamlet, would drive her into the brook like Ophelia.

But alas! She will have none of it, for her day has come.

Behold! She has emerged from the ardent flames of adversity triumphant.
Her will cannot be broken.

Like Lady Liberty she stands victorious and proud. She is a beacon of hope. She is the future.
