Limp's been on a long and perhaps permanent hiatus so when I saw this I thought I'd post it anyway. It's an interview with Fred from May last year. It focusses mainly on his work as a director on the film "The Education of Charlie Banks". Seems he even had some tips from David Fincher (Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac).
The Limp Bizkit frontman talks about his eye-opening debut as a film director, ''The Education of Charlie Banks,'' the influence of David Fincher on his work, and reaching an age where it's cool to read the newspaper.

I must say I'm surprised there's been no posting over the recent mini-album 'The Unquestionable Truth Part 1'. I've ordered my copy but haven't received it yet.
I know a lot of people disliked 'Results May Vary' (which I personally had no problem with) but that album did go platinum. This recent release hasn't met with much fanfare apparently.
I've read reviews that state the band now sounds more than a little reminiscent of the late Rage Against The Machine. Having always thought this about the band I'm more than a little bemused that the critics should make this observation/accusation some three albums later than they should have. Anyway, Wes is back in the fold which I thought would please some parties enough to, you know, actually get excited and buy the album. But given things as they currently stand I can either gather that:
a) A lot of people aren't even aware of the release;
b) A lot of people are aware of the release they just either can't be bothered or consider it an EP single rather than an album - and well, can't be bothered;
c) Too many people lost interest over the last album (ironic that, seeing as everyone wanted Wes back on that one);
d) They're all waiting for the implied Part II, and are so reserving their judgement (and cash).
What do you think?
there are rumors flying around that fred is now dating paris hilton. they were spotted together on a "date" last wednesday night, and witnesses say the two were "all over each other" before leaving together. when i first heard about this, i was hoping that someone just made it up to start shit, but after seeing the picture proofs (of them together) for myself, i'm not so sure. fred should get away while he still can. miss. paris hilton is bad news, and i cannot stand her. although, i must say that she has good taste if she's with fred now. going from someone like backstreet boy, nick carter, to limp bizkit's fred durst? big improvement. hah.

Here's a poll for everyone here:
Should posters here be permitted to sell Limp Bizkit oriented items on this community?
No - I'd rather they didn't.
wes is back.....the next album is gona be fucking KiLlEr!
this journal needs to be livened up a bit...
anyway, as for limp bizkit news, if any of you other fans haven't already heard, the band is currently assembling an upcoming greatest~hits album that is expected to surface before the end of the year. although a track list has not yet been determined, three new songs (tentatively titled "relentless," "masturbation" and "why?") are likely to appear in the set.
oh, by the way, if any dumbasses who have nothing better to do with their time would like to leave lame comments about how "fat" and "gay" fred is, like in the last post, then go ahead... be my guest. you amuse me.
