I'm only going to be using one noun, sfo, the word for "pearl" in Zvo. I'll be declining the noun through four of the most common cases: nominative (subject), genitive (possessive), dative (indirect object), and accusative (direct object). I'll also be illustrating the singluar versus plural.
sfo [pearl]
Singular
nom - sfo
gen - sfu
dat - sfe
acc - sfi
Plural
nom - zvo
gen - zvu
dat - zve
acc - zvi
One of Two
nom - o'sfo
gen - u'sfu
dat - e'sfe
acc - i'sfi
Two of Two
nom - osfo
gen - usfu
dat - esfe
acc - isfi
Double (the both of)
nom - o'zvo
gen - o'zvu
dat - o'zve
acc - o'zvi
The instrumental case will end with a, like "with the key" is the instrumental case. I'll also have a locative case, but that will be a circumfix depending upon the adposition used.

I'm inventing my own language, which I shall call Zvo. I know that there are many invented languages out there, thanks to Star Trek, J.R.R. Tolkien, a multitude of linguists, and Esperanto. Many children invent their own language, too, typically based off their first language. This will probably have a lot of influence from the languages I know, mainly English, Latin, and Japanese. I'm going to keep the Roman alphabet, so I can actually type it out on my keyboard. The language needs a culture, a central idea to base things off of, and mine will be science.
There will be a separate copula for facts and opinions (or unverified facts). There will be more pronouns than English has, allowing for hermaphorodites and androgenous organisms. There will also be a second person plural, which English doesn't have. The language will rely on inflection more than word order, and all nouns will contain either voiced or voiceless consonants based on plurality.
There will be cases, of course, and the two most important ones will feature tense vowels, while the rest may be tense or lax. Number will depend on single, double, triple, plural, and fractions. Gender, as aforementioned, will include female, male, both, neither, and nongendered.
That's just the first brainstorm...
