Sexual knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of developmentally disabled adults living in a normalized apartment setting (original) (raw)

Abstract

In this paper the authors share information about the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of a group of 25 developmentally disabled adults who are living, or have recently lived in the Apartment Living Program, a normalized residential setting in Madison, Wisconsin. The authors had originally devised a questionnaire as an evaluation and program development tool for staff members in the program. When the information was compiled the authors felt it might be of interest to the helping profession at large and decided to report it in article form.
