  1. Try XMP 1 at 6400Hz set to auto.
  2. Make sure to update the BIOS and chipset.
  3. The PC needs to go though memory training which can be slow. Also some motherboards have a setting that will suspend USB ports to save power. If you have that option you can turn that off in the BIOS. As for memory training in can take 5-15 minutes give or take a few.
  4. Maybe check out tesmart.com
  5. If you had cloned a drive from a smaller drive onto a larger drive. Sometimes the cloning software ends up making the larger drive the size of the smaller one. That can be changed if that's the case. If you are able try to find out how much space is being used by other users. Also Windows ends up taking up a lot of space with old updates.
  6. Passive speakers always need an amplifier.
  7. I was able to remove the screw with drilling. I repasted and new thermal pads. Artifacting is still going on. Did some tests and it is a bad memory module on the gpu.
  8. It takes more work than just removing the screw to get the board out.
  9. It's nothing like a desktop pc. The Alienware Alpha R2 is built with laptop components.
  10. You shouldn't try to correct people. Sorry I bothered.
  11. The screw head is stripped out.
  12. I know the solution. Just about about the correct size drill bit. I don't have any bits that are made to drill into metal.
  13. I'm not needing a reverse spin bit. Just the size of a drill bit made to drill into metal.
  14. Just asking about the size of a drill bit is all.
