  1. Budget is £150, looking for a good balance between screen resolution and hz. And has to be 27” or under any recommendations?   2. Looks good, assuming you could use the full budget what would you get?
  3. Budget is up £200 nothing crazy needed, but minimum 120 hz with 1080p and reliable. Anything thats best value is a priority. I’ll use this for general use but mainly watching stuff and gaming, 4 hours a day at the most I’ve tried IPS and VA, and definitely prefer IPS because VA’s lack of colours just isnt worth it. im not particularly knowledgeable in this, so will always appreciate any recommendations here. Headset - Hypher X cloud II The microphone itself is the issue, it is detected and enabled on all apps to be used but gives "no jack information is available" in properties and picks up no sound. I've reinstalled all audio drivers, made it the default in settings, checked BIOS etc but no result, though to be noted headset works fine on any other device any advice would be appreciated, thank you
  5. Ya i’ve tried this, and i think either the mobo is gone or its something to do with cpu compatibility. i made 100% sure ram, gpu and PSU were plugged in and wired correctly, but no dice is there are a way to test if cpu or mobo work, or should i go to a tech store and let them have a try?
  6. I assume this is not meant to have a gap? The socket on the mobo dosent have a matching gap
  7. I see, thank you very much. Im gonna rebuild the pc and hope for the best I cabled it wrong, or my mobo dosent boot up if the versions wrong
  8. My mobo dosent but i planned to update it upon boot, wasnt aware it might not boot if it didnt support it gigabyte B450M DS3H - mobo amd ryzen 5500 - cpu do you know how i can check if my mobo can be updated to the needed version without booting up w cpu? Thank you

First pc build, clicked power button and nothing, checked at a shop, PSU very much works, motherboard has 0 physical damage, scratches, no noise on power press nothing. hence im asking, whats the MINIMUM needed to get a pc to turn on (fans to spin, power button to light up, anything). PSU, sw power connector, fan cables to get them spinning?
  11. Yep its from the PSU, my fans and gpu are plugged in, i have a stock cooler and its plugged i looked at my psu and apparently it has a usb 2.0??? My only guess is the last one is said usb but i have no clue why a psu has that

Hey everyone, hope you’re day is going great. so i’ve installed all my parts, daisy chained fan rgb and regular cables and plugged in all the cables i was confident in. below are the only cables left that are still hanging loose, are these just spares or am i missing something? Thank you! There are 3 spare SATA cables as far as i understand, i plugged the fourth/main into a sata so i assume this is alright to let hang Same cable, not sure what these are yet but i assume they do indeed need to go somewhere? again, thanks very much
  13. I’ve decided to build the pc myself honestly its all the cabling and updating the BIOS before i can actually + if i mess up severely it becomes a £600 paperweight lol
