Linux is superior to Windows in every way. Duh, everyone knows that. Where do we even start with what’s wrong with Windows 10? It’s not Windows 7 or 8.1. That’s what’s wrong with it. Incessant spying, an illogical start menu — why should anyone need to hover over an option to click it for example the documents, power button, who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to make someone need to wait in order to click the power button in order to shutdown. Update and shutdown? Give me a break. How about just shutdown? No way that’s too logical. Why is there a search bar next to the start menu? When searching in explorer is a feature of all Windows NT operating systems. Search for apps? How about select it in the start menu? Typing is faster, no the search box takes up room. Best part is if you want to open more programs than the taskbar can hold, instead of the search bar being a place for a program to appear, no collapse the entire list of programs. That’s the logical thing to do. Additional steps to do everything. Rearranging every aspect of the operating system which has been the same for over 30 years for “usability”. Fluid scrolling in apps? No way, make it as short and sharp as possible, stop the scroll wheel at the exact point where you don’t want it to be. Microsoft isn’t doing anything on your computer “we are doing so and so”, no you’re not. Windows is. Treating the end user like they are not smart enough to make their own decisions. Work is a valid question. Trying to do any real work is an exercise in annoyance, as Windows hates the user and wants to make it as difficult as possible so you just give up trying to work the way you want and just concede and let them steal your data, log your keystrokes, track your location, and just accept that this is the new normal and remember your place.
No. I was asking how can I tweak Windows for work bruh?
Hi, I am forced to use Windows 10 for gaming with an Xbox One controller. I got tired of dual booting Linux and having to constantly switch OSes for when I want to game and work. So now I am trying to make Windows 10 useable because my laptop manufacturer doesn’t support any other OS than Windows 10. Is there a total system modification that completely changes how it works in terms of the UI? Or should I just give up trying to game on my gaming laptop and stick with Linux permanently, waste the GTX 1660 Ti I have in it and buy a PS4 and pay $120 per new game because I live in Australia?
At the start of chapter 3 you only have a revolver and a double barrel shotgun. The double barrel shotgun is not upgradeable so it doesn’t show up in the upgrade screen in the electric upgrade chair, therefore you are unable to use neither the d-pad or the left stick as there is nothing to select. Once you obtain any other weapon like the crossbow or the pump action shotgun once you go back to the upgrade chair you will be able to use the left stick or the d-pad to upgrade.
I did. Yes. I was able to select other weapons after getting them
I don’t want to use Android or iOS. A 2 in 1 is a good idea, as long as the keyboard can be detached. Installing Linux bare metal on it would be easy. Ubuntu allows the use of an onscreen keyboard which means people are already using tablets with Ubuntu installed on them.
Only major manufacturer’s popular devices inside a VM on Android and you must use a keyboard and mouse which kind of defeats the purpose of a tablet
I’ve thought about this again and now I think that I don’t need it to be like the real deal, just reasonably realistic. Does anyone know of a reasonably good steering wheel and pedals for cheap in Australia? I’ve decided on which driving sim I’m going to use – City Car Driving. In the real world I am learning to drive an automatic as 90% of the cars in Australia are automatic.
Good morning, I own an old iPad Air which I have been using for 6 years which I am getting very bored of due to various factors such as its age, low resolution, bad battery life, slowness, inability to use torrents on it, little control over what I am able to do with it all that coupled together with the aspect that the new iPads are excessively expensive in Australia and even the cheaper one uses an inferior display compared to what used to be the expensive model but is now considered “mid-range”. I don’t like Android, I think it’s too clunky and ugly. The icons look too 2005 for me. In terms of deciding what OS I want to run, I am a major Linux guy, I can’t stand Windows for anything other than gaming maybe I could run Linux on a tablet? Unfortunately, Google doesn’t seem to like that idea, I’m pretty sure that pretty much all Android tablets are locked down so you can’t use anything other than Android on them. What are the possible options? My main usage for it would be torrents, web browsing, Netflix, occasional heavy gaming for when I can’t be bothered getting up to my gaming PC, cool customisation pretty much all of the possible “forbidden” usages that Microsoft, Google and Apple don’t like.
Turns out the double barrel shotgun is not upgradable. As soon as I got the pump action I was able to upgrade
Hi I can't figure out how to select a different weapon. It says to move the left stick left or right to select a different weapon. I am using an Xbox One controller and keep moving the left stick left and right and down and up and it only selects the upgrades when moving it down and up. How do I change the weapon I want to upgrade? I am at chapter 3 with a pistol and shotgun.
