hello,

i have a thrustmaster tx leather edition but i absolutely hate it, it has ghost buttons,

the screws that hold the 6 pin conector in place are striped so i can barely thighten them, the screws are no where availible even not at thrustmaster.

i probably want to sell it and get a dd.

should i get a new r3 or a used csl dd with a mclaren 720s wheel (or a r5 if there is a used one available)

what whould you buy

thx a lot

I have a full Moza setup and I absolutely love it. The quality for the price is excellent.

Fanatec has had a lot of issues lately with customer support but they have been bought by Corsair so maybe we'll see some progress going forwards.

That being said. I got a early sample of Moza's sequential shifter and it failed after 2 hours ( Metal on metal grinding ). They sent me a new one for free within a week, Moza's customer support was 10/10.

The Fanatec CSL is a 5nm wheel and the Moza R3 is a 3.9nm wheel so the difference is not a lot.

If you can find a used R5 that would be excellent.' Having warranty on a new R3 would also be very nice.

What I would buy? With the knowledge I have of my own Moza equipment I would absolutely buy it again, no doubt in my mind.
I have a lot of friends with Fanatec products and some are not happy at all.

It might seem like I am against Fanatec and I am not, they make a lot of good products and they are great until or if they fail. Thats when the problem starts.

I moved from a Thrustmaster T500rs with the T3PA Pro pedals and my oh my.. DirectDrive is so smooth compared to belt driven wheels.
Night and day difference! I also have to work a lot less because I can feel more through the wheel.

With a belt driven wheel I used to work up quite the sweat on warm days during hotlapping, with a DD wheel I no longer have this issue.
