Anyone have $650 they can lend a wuff with an antique saxophone? I just talked to the instrument repair place that is currently fixing my horn and they said that the guys that fixed it up before didn't use very good pads on the keys and that some of the tone holes are uneven. It could use a total refurbishing.
Actually, I just spoke directly to the repair man. He told me that this is a vintage saxophone and that nobody makes horns like this anymore. If it were refurbished, it would be worth between 2000−2000 - 2000−4000. I told him just to fix the little problem I had sent it in for, and that I'll have it refurbished later when money isn't as tight.
