Well, last Thursday, I got a letter from the adoption ppl saying that they'd found mom... that's great... Put me on cloud nine...
But this weekend at the lake, I got a real scare. Turns out that Grandma's oxygen hose came disconnected in the middle of the night. I was just scared to death when I heard... We would have had no way of knowing... SHe only found out 'cause she had to go to the washroom in the middle of the night. Had she not woken up, she might have died... and I have no first aid training so I wouldn't have known what to do... I'm looking into taking a course, though.
Really makes you think about the fragility of life... and how quickly it can be taken away.
