Belated update on the state of my health...	[Nov. 8th, 2013\|08:45 am]Liritar
[Tags\|anime, cooking, kidneys, life the universe and everything, lir is falling apart, this damn illness]Okay, so I'm really horrible at keeping in touch. Sorry, people. Here's what's been going on:So about a month ago I started having kidney trouble. Turns out I have this rare disease called vasculitis, and I've just come off of the month long immunosuppressant treatments. Everything's slowly starting to get better, but the drugs are going to really start taking effect in the next few months. So here's hoping. Also they're reducing the dosage of the steroids I'm taking, finally, so I'm starting to sleep again, yay. It was giving me major insomnia for awhile, there.Other than that, I've gotten really into cooking, lately. I never used to like it, but I'm having so much fun now. Yays! Been trying out a lot of new things. And making shit up as I go along, lol.Also finally broke down and started watching an anime, which I used to avoid for personal reasons related to annoying people trying to get me to watch things. I have gone to the dark side. laughs

[Tags\|dr. g, illness, kidneys, lir is falling apart, will it never end?]Right, so I've been having all these health crises, right? But over the past few months, I've been steadily getting better. I was even at the point where I'd put in a few applications to find a part time job. I feel fine. But now? Apparently my kidneys are working at 16%. That's not a good number. And I STILL FEEL FINE. Sigh Spent all day at the doctor's yesterday, going to spend all day today getting ultrasounds and probably kidney biopsies. Well, one of each. I doubt they're going to mess up and have to do it over and over again.My new kidney doctor's really nice, at least. He seems like he'd be a lot of fun if this wasn't so serious. And he seems to know what he's talking about.

[Tags\|life the universe and everything, lir is back!, this damn illness]Since I have a habit of following veetvoojagig around the internet... I'm back, too. Hi, guys, to anyone who's still around. I pretty much only used this thing for fics and icons, lol, so I'm not sure who even remembers me.Anyway, for those who still care, I've been having a pretty rough time. Back in November, I got really sick, and only recently found a doctor who has any idea what might be causing it. I've been too fatigued to work, and only rarely have enough energy to leave the house. I'm really hoping this new guy can figure out what I have, because this is really getting old.

veetvoojagig around the internet... I'm back, too. Hi, guys, to anyone who's still around. I pretty much only used this thing for fics and icons, lol, so I'm not sure who even remembers me.Anyway, for those who still care, I've been having a pretty rough time. Back in November, I got really sick, and only recently found a doctor who has any idea what might be causing it. I've been too fatigued to work, and only rarely have enough energy to leave the house. I'm really hoping this new guy can figure out what I have, because this is really getting old.

I've been dealing with limited computer time, and, well, I just didn't feel like talking. I've given up the idea that I'll ever catch up with my flist, so if anything interesting's happened since January, drop me a line and tell me. If you've written a fic you want me to read, slap me around and put it in front of my face.In other news, someone's finally agreed to rent us a house. I get to move out of my dad's place. Thank all the gods dreamed up by the mind of man.And Kathy and I are both in the running for a promotion. Only the one, and, actually, we're hoping she gets it. Then I can stay working part time and try to take internet classes. And, of course, 'work on my novel.' Laughs
