Traditional approaches to goal modeling focus on capturing the business goals into an accurate representation. Business goals originate from the vision and strategy of the company being modeled. By restraining to model the business goals, traditional approached often fail to capture the meaning of goals and the managers' vision of business.

To fulfill these requirements organizations have to become process-centered so they can maximize the efficiency of their value chain. In this paper we propose and discuss an organizational model to describe the execution of business activities. This model offers a dynamic, actor-centered, context-based and business process oriented perspective of the organization. The model explicitly addresses information and collaboration needs derived from human multi-tasking capabilities and aims to facilitate the design of systems for a personalized, proactive and timely support of human business actors.

Here is described an immune system simulator that uses a cellular automaton to model the physical environment along with a genetic algorithm to attain adaptation and selection. Agent genetic coding comprised within the genotype is a set of rules which expresses behavior. Moreover, an agent includes a collection of operators which use the genetic code in order to interact with other agents and physical sites.

A business object represents a concept of interest within the organization, such as an activity or an actor. Business objects play multiple roles according to their behavior while collaborating with other business objects. Collaborations can then be expressed by the roles played by every participant in that scenario.

Abstract This paper presents a generic model to describe the content and structure of video and i... more Abstract This paper presents a generic model to describe the content and structure of video and image data. $ video model is used to create a set of hierarchic groups that describe the structure of a video, allowing semantic concepts, such as scenes, to be represented. The description of the video content includes temporal features extracted from the video shots and spatial features of the key-frames.

Dois dos modelos assentam directamente na plataforma de prototipagem e de guiões patente no VRML.
