So, I'm kind of flailing and dying over the pure awesome that is the latest Arashi PV, "Kokoro no Sora," off their new album Japonism. I mean, I can't even... Just... FLAIL!

I don't even know. I was in the mood to make a vid but couldn't pick one, so I smooshed them all together. ^_^ There are, of course, spoilers for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" within, so tread carefully!

...and OMG I loved it. It was SO much better than I expected it to be. And daggummit, I want Kili/Tauriel fic like crazy now. *facepalm* Does that mean I'm easily manipulated by my ovaries? Why yes, yes it does. And I DON'T CARE.
You know, between Kili/Tauriel and Loki/Darcy, I'm drowning in ficable coupledom right now. *drowns happily*
Also, the song from the end of the movie? GORGEOUS. I came home and bought the album instantly.

Hi, all!
It's been AGES since I last did any fanart, but for whatever reason this afternoon I felt in the mood to manip.
I've had this idea for a futuristic, dieselpunk Arashi 'verse for a while now, and while I've not been able to kick my brain into actually WRITING any of it, I thought I might try my hand at illustrating it instead. This is hopefully the first of a series of such manips, which I'm going to title "Retropolis."
Nino and the lovely Yoshitaka Yuriko are the stars of the show this time around.
