Comte’s ideas relating to the law of three stages reveal that man is becoming more and more rational and scientific in his approach by gradually giving up speculations, imagination etc. He has shown that there is a close association between intellectual evolution and social progress. The law of three stages is the three stages of mental and social development. It is the co-ordination of feeling, thought and action in individuals and society. There are three important aspects of our nature. Such as our feelings, our thought and our actions.

The transformational school and higher education initiatives draw inspiration not just from prior policies implemented by different governments throughout the years, but also from ancient beliefs and practises. This will assist the nation in confronting both international and domestic obstacles.
Economic Status and Health in Old Age: A Sociological Study of Kolkata, 2023

In general, people with higher socioeconomic status tend to have better health outcomes, including better physical health, lower rates of chronic diseases, and longer life expectancy. This article provides anthropometric data on senior citizens in India. Kolkata, West Bengal, was the location of the data collection. One hundred geriatric (males and females, aged 65 and older) participated in the study. The Body Mass Index (BMI) of elderly males and females was compared to their income status.

Data were collected in the metropolitan city Kolkata, West Bengal. In all 100 elderly people (males and females, aged 65 years and above) took part in the study. The BMI (Body Mass Index) of elderly males and females were compared with Income status of elderly people.

Photocatalysis is one of the methods used for eradication of dyes from textile industrial effluents. In this study, the synthesis, characterization and evaluation of photo catalytic activity of Ag-TiO2 is reported. TiO2 catalysts with 2, 4, 6 and 8% loading of Ag were prepared by green methods using Azadirachta indica leaves extract as reducing agent with titanium dioxide and silver nitrate as precursor materials. Prepared catalyst was characterized by advanced techniques and was used as catalyst for degradation of Methylene blue and Rhodamine B dyes. Deposition of Ag greatly enhanced the catalytic efficiency of TiO2 towards degradation of dyes. Irradiation of catalyst excites electrons from conduction band of catalyst to valence band yielding an electron-hole pair. This electron-hole pair undergoes secondary reactions and produce OH∙ radicals. These active radicals take part in degradation of dyes. More than 90% dyes ...

The powerful revolution changed has been perceived by the society through digital social media all around. Society has various facet likewise business, legal, political, cultural etc. Every facet of society has been taking move through DSM. This study gives insight of significant affect in our sociocultural world. Cases of cyber bullying by unknown users and harassment are unknown. Such cases have resulted in significant loss of self-esteem and have a detrimental effect on people's morals.

Questions about the physical, psychological, social, and economic status of older adults have served, either directly or indirectly, as the predominant focus of the aging research (e. g., Maddox and Wiley, 1976). It is these kinds of questions that have increased understanding of the processes and problems of aging and have led to the development of strategies designed to maximize the potential of the later years. The purpose of the present study is to look into the situation in which the elderly live and to understand the various health study of the elderly living in Muslim Community in Kolkata.

Aging individuals are now living longer with increasing life expectancy and availability of better health facilities but are also requiring more assistance or care to manage their day to day activities. Objective: This paper examines gender differences in the term of care of older parents in India by studying the expected provision of care by family members. Gender differences in care are important, as the socio-cultural environment of India shapes the role of married children. While married sons are expected to provide long-term care for their biological parents, married daughters have limited scope to do so. This paper examines the level of care of the elderly on basis of gender in the family. Method: To conduct the above-mentioned study the present researcher used both quantitative and qualitative methods. Present study has been conducted based on the 2011 census of Kolkata City in the West Bengal, India, 150 res...

Its other objective is to explore the area and to investigate certain cognitive and affective aspects of these attitudes held by children of different age levels. The objective of the investigation is to study the development of prejudice in children studying in class 4 th to 6 th standard. The salient dimensions of prejudice considered are awareness, preference and no preference for class, religion and caste. Another objective of the study is to investigate the parental role and the influence of socio-cultural variables on the development of prejudice in children.

The search is performed in five decay modes: γγ, ZZ, WW, τ + τ − , and bb. An excess of events is observed above the expected background, a local significance of 5.0 standard deviations, at a mass near 125 GeV, signalling the production of a new particle. The expected significance for a standard model Higgs boson of that mass is 5.8 standard deviations. The excess is most significant in the two decay modes with the best mass resolution, γγ and ZZ; a fit to these signals gives a mass of 125.3 ± 0.4 (stat.) ± 0.5 (syst.) GeV. The decay to two photons indicates that the new particle is a boson with spin different from one. This paper is dedicated to the memory of our colleagues who worked on CMS but have since passed away. In recognition of their many contributions to the achievement of this observation.
