Thank you for joining everyone!
We have collected over 2.7 million Bags of ocean bound waste and fed , empowered over 968,000. We have over 1898 waste collectors who our hero’s amd work tirelessly to clean up and prevent ocean bound waste. We have received 38 million in funding from the souht African stimulus fund. Litter4tokens has built an app which has all the data of all our indigenous people who are saving the ocean as they don’t just collect and sort plastics, from k4 , tin and glass all tracked for business to see the impact Creating the perfect circularity and getting all packaging back to be repurpose. Such a pity we were nominated for the earthshot prize but didn’t get to the finals for some reason. Collaboration is key to support the foundations on the ground doing the work. We work with the municipalities to bring communities together, prevention is better than cure. EPR funding isn’t reaching the collectors and making aLL packaging the same value. Www.litter4tokens.com Www.litter4tokens.orgOur foundation CEO is also at the and Discovered that Nurdles are lent transported as hazardous material! Since 1940 the chemical industry has been releasing these into the environment . She invented the mermaid tear catcher to help educate the world about the nurldes (memrmaid tears) all over our beaches and rivers around the world. Exxonmobil and vinlar have lost over trillions of nurldes at sea along our coastline in souht Africa we will never be able to clean up this catastrophe. I have present to the UNEP amd IMO to get the ammendment of the INDG code for nurldes. , I am working with lawyers in USA California as we are suing BNSF and NCT railway for spilling noodles for the last three years destroy our ocean we all share. The problem is too much money is put into cleaning up beaches and the environment where we should be putting the funding into prevention method measures like literature, tokens, and changing the IMG code preventing further disaster. Prevention better than cure. Regards clare
Philanthropy is about the liberation of the receiver, not redemption of the giver - like that :)
The Earthshot Prize is quickly becoming the Olympics of Climate and I am so excited to be joining in New York.
Creativity is contagious, pass it on.
Not one Earthshot Prize finalist mentions prevention as a method to save our planet. Does this mean trillions of nurdles can continue spilling into our oceans, silently killing marine life with no accountability? Nurdles are one of the biggest, yet least known, destroyers of our earth—tiny plastic pellets that wreak havoc on our ecosystems. I proposed a solution: instead of transporting plastic in the form of nurdles, the chemical industry should ship plastic in larger, manageable tubes. The transformation into nurdles should only happen once the plastic reaches its final destination at manufacturing plants. This simple shift could drastically reduce the risk of spills during transport. I won’t give up, even though we received a "no" from the Earthshot Prize. We will continue to fight for this planet and champion real, long-term prevention strategies. Our oceans and marine life deserve better, and we are determined to lead that change. Has this signal been heard? Nurdles are destroying our planet, yet the world seems unaware. Hopefully, someone out there sees this and helps push it forward, making this change a reality—one we should have made a decade ago. ---

- There are few organisations I respect more than Ethex. They help community-owned & other social + impact enterprises access finance. They are themselves a non-profit, with purpose fully locked-in. And they're savvy and practical. They do the hard work of actually channelling finance where it otherwise wouldn't go, all while fostering a narrative shift in the deep design of business & finance. It's a privilege to help them celebrate 10 years of impact. They are the real deal. Oxford-based friends, do join us tomorrow night #SocialFinance #DoughnutBiz #DoughnutEconomics

Here's some of the highlights: ➡10 have successfully secured follow-on funding in the form of grants and investments, totalling more than £1.6m. ➡ Four companies received a combined £90k worth of additional funding from Green Future Investments Ltd (GFIL) to continue their journey along the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) pathway. ➡ 50% of our awardees have moved forward two or more TRL levels since the start of their projects. We're pleased to see the progress of our awardees working to address the challenges related to tackling climate change, protecting our environment, and delivering a net zero future. The FFF support truly innovative leaps through small grants of approximately £10,000 to test early-stage ideas (Technology Readiness Level [TRL] 1-3). TRLs are based on a scale from 1 to 9, with 9 being the most mature technology and ready for the ‘real world’. Applications for the next cohort will be opening on Wednesday 25 September. Could this be what you need to progress your idea, technologies, products, or services? Find out more about the fund: https://bit.ly/3MJKo1p

I’ve been imagining life in 2100, called by tomorrow’s Intergenerational Futures Town Hall to “ditch the pessimism, and embrace the courage”. I invite you to do so with me. We’re living in a thriving, sustainable world. It’s not perfect and there’s still, as ever, work to do, but thinking this way allows me to consider the types of discussions we had, the compassion we shared, the bravery these times needed and wisdom we gave time for, rising to the surface in 2024. It makes me think about the actions I need to take and the person our future generations needed me to be. This hope combined with tangible action will be at the centre of tomorrow’s "An Australian Vision for 2100”, an Intergenerational Futures Town Hall hosted by Taylor Dee Hawkins, Foundations for Tomorrow.org & United Nations Foundation. Plenty of the event’s themes and objectives give me reason to be grateful to be attending on behalf of Next25, but I'll pick two: Let young people lead the way: This will be a powerful, impactful platform to young people, and for young people, who are ready to be part of our nation's journey toward global governance, sustainability, and equity. Act now for the future: The event highlights a concept that resonates deeply with my work right now—how future-making is happening, that it is happening today, and that we can intervene in this system. Really looking forward to contributing to an Australian vision for 2100 and the global 2100 Roadmap.#IntergenerationalFutures #Sustainability #GlobalCooperation #YouthLeadership #Vision2100
