- We extend our congratulations to our team members, Claudia Manrique Isaac Rodriguez, MBA Rocio Andrade and Cesario Ruiz, for achieving this certification. We commend their dedicated efforts and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our entrepreneurs. We also extend our gratitude to the Global Learning Partners team for their invaluable guidance and collaboration.
We have new network members! This past April, four staff members of El Pájaro Community Development Corporation officially became Certified Dialogue Education Practitioners (CDEPs) with Global Learning Partners. For the past year, this team has worked diligently in collaboration with our consultants to apply Dialogue Education principles to their courses for entrepreneurs. Here are a few ways they have applied our approach: FOCUS ON FEEDBACK – By leveraging mutual respect and trust, the group found it easy to share feedback with each other. These shared perspectives led to greater course revisions. WILLINGNESS TO TRY SOMETHING NEW – Even though the approach is new, they were open to jumping in with both feet and truly immersed themselves in the approach. COMMITMENT TO THE PROCESS – After completing our 4-day Foundations of Dialogue Education course, the group scheduled another 4-day off-site working session to further enhance their learning tasks and objectives. Congratulations to Rocio Andrade, Claudia Manrique, Isaac Rodriguez, MBA & cesario ruiz! We are so excited for the hundreds of entrepreneurs who will have thriving businesses because of your efforts.#entrepreneurship #teamwork #watsonvillecalifornia Tyler Phillips Valerie Uccellani Claudia Quinonez Tonjala Eaton - We’re thrilled to join this cohort!
- Huge thanks to The James Irvine Foundation for supporting our mission and helping us move forward!
“An inclusive economy, I think means, once again, that my skin color does not determine my outcome...It means that I have or my children have an equal right or an equal opportunity at the same table as anyone else.” – Rev. Artis Smith, Pastor, New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Our grantee-partners in #Salinas share this vision and are committed to creating an economy that works for all. How are they building an inclusive economy? Watch the video below for snapshots of the work some of our partners are leading in Salinas. Over the years, our commitment has only grown stronger. We now proudly serve the Tri-County region, expanding our programs and services to meet the needs of our local communities. Our deep gratitude goes out to everyone who has been part of our journey and contributed to El Pajaro CDC's history. Stay tuned for updates on our 45th Anniversary celebration!
