Rough Waters Chapter 5 *dusts off*CHAPTER FIVESummary: During the filming of FOTR, Elijah is knocked unconscious and into the “Anduin.”. And it only took me about a year and a half to update…AN: nothing ever happened, and I don’t own them. *sigh*What a pity.As I said when I last posted something here: I’m smaugs_mommy in disguise *lol*. I think I promised some more medical background on concussions, memory-loss and nosocomial infections, but that’ll have to wait until the next chapter, which I hope will not take another year to be written. Rated: PG 13 - for the nightmare. Feel free to skip the part in italics, it might be…graphic. The shirebound warning has hereby been given.Any suggestions are welcome, since I'm very creative when it comes to spelling and punctuation ;)Oh…and shirebound, dear, - I only realised about Janet when the chapter was already written…hope you are ok with this. OT - looking for a beta; non fandom My daughter is writing a science-fiction type story about three young women who are being groomed to fight a world threat that will re-emerge after lying dormant for thousands of years. It is an extremely good story for a teenage author, and very interesting. She is looking for someone to beta - to tell her where things are inconsistant, where characters need further development, etc. Her writing is good. Spelling could be better, but in general the grammar is excellant and the spelling is well above average (and she uses the spell checker). Elijah's Very Bad Week Chapter 8/? Finally, finally, finally...I am updating. No, I haven't given up on Labyrinth and am hoping fervently that once I finish this little fic I will be more timely in my updates. I am so sorry you guys, for being so horrible about that. I used to be so religious about posting story updates every two weeks, but the last year or so seems to have pretty much run my life instead of the other way around...anyway, I truly hope (don't hold me to this, but I am writing a little everyday now) to have a new chapter within the next couple of weeks, maybe sooner. Plot bunny -- free to a good home! 'Lo, everyone. While cleaning up my harddrive last night I found the beginnings of a fic involving an ill and miserable Elijah, which I don't seem to have ever outlined or finished. I'd love to dive into it right now, but the chances of me having the time to work on it at all are slim to none, so I must sadly put this bunny up for adoption.Here's what I had written:_Very little got past Peter Jackson's notice. People tended to underestimate the short, round, hobbitlike man; they didn't realize that behind the unruly hair and large glasses lurked a pair of extremely sharp, inquisitive eyes that seemed to take in everything at once. This all-seeing ability was one of the things that allowed him to run the set - even multiple sets at once - so smoothly. So naturally, when something was amiss when one of his actors, Peter was quick to spot it.Elijah had been slightly more quiet and withdrawn than was his usual wont since hearing that his mother was ill a few days before. But today there was something else troubling him; Elijah hid it well, but it didn't take Peter long to notice. As he was not a particularly prying sort of man, he decided to simply keep an eye on the eighteen-year-old throughout filming that day. However, by the time they were finished filming for the day, it was obvious that Elijah was more than just a bit withdrawn - he was miserable. When the boy merely waved halfheartedly at everyone before heading quietly to his trailer, Peter decided that it was time to step in. As Frodo had been the only main character needed in the scene they were filming today, Sean Astin was out enjoying some time with his wife and daughter. Orlando had dragged Viggo out to do... something... (Peter hoped, rather uselessly, it wasn't anything potentially dangerous) Which left Dominic and Billy, who were due to arrive any minute to talk to himself, Fran and Phillipa about their character development in the scenes they'd be filming tomorrow.Just as the thought crossed Peter's mind he heard a familiar voice shout "Oi, Pete!" and turned to see the two actors in question come running up to him, grinning and obviously just back from having a good time._From what I recall, I intended Dom and Billy to find 'Lij and figger out what was wrong with him - i.e., news that his mom's illness was more serious than he'd at first heard, and his own cold/flu/whatever. :P However, I have no qualms with whoever-wants-this-bunny discarding that scenario in favor of their own!So... anyone interested? :D Current Mood:  content (4 Comments |Comment on this) |

| _10:13 pm_[the_morannon] | Summary: There’s this story that refuses to leave my mind so I wrote down just a bit. I have an outline of events and a time line in my head. What I don’t know much about is the darker parts. I’m just not familiar enough with some kinds of people/groups/cults/etc and places that are in the story. The story begins with filming on-location, an attack, an abduction and then a rollercoaster of not-so-nice events. Elijah is gone and time does not mend those family and friends who want him back. Time barely heals Elijah himself. He will never be who he used to be. Why? What happened? Where was he taken? What was done to him? I’m looking for someone interested in helping me write this. It is real-person, no slash but other dark stuff. It takes place in London, Northern Scotland and ends in Ireland. Countries I’ve never been to. All of the places exist, but I have absolutely, positively NO knowledge as to when or where or if any of the events I am about to depict, ever took place. Rough Waters Chapter 4 (er..5? *has lost count*) I’m sorry it took me so long to update, but I’ve got a real life to deal with, and RL comes (unfortunately) first I'm giving you more medical background with the next chapter. So far I can only provide you with a picture of a human skull click me, but be warned, I'm large , which I drew while preparing for an exam in anatomy :p. You may notice I gave my skull large eyes and high cheekbones :p.
