Inspired by the famously exceptionl challenge from Caiden [varietyshow], so I propose this new challenge, with new first lines!

The Rules:

1. You must use one of the provided lines, and it must be the very first line of your fic.
2. All pairings and ratings are acceptable.
3. Drabble, one-shot, ficlet, novel, novella, epic, poem, whatever floats your boat.
4. Please post a link in the comments of this post, so after everything's been submitted, I can make a massive rec post.
5. Write as many pieces as you want.
6. Be creative, be weird, stretch the boundries. Try and conquer something you never have before.
7. The only alterations that can be changed are "he's" to "she's" and any tense changes.
8. Don't change dialogue to prose, or prose to dialogue. Think of it as a challenge.
9. This isn't a rule, but like Caiden [varietyshow] said in his rules, it would be cool if you could leave a little shout-out in your A/N to either the challenge, or to me for the first line. But you don't have to, but it would be a nice gesture.
10. Any further questions can be left in a comment, and I'll do my best to help you out!

Ok, now that the formalities are over, onto the sentences...

1. "How do you manage to take your thoughts and turn them into beautiful words?"
2. And then the penny dropped.
3. Everything is dead when I'm not with you.
4. "I could kill you if I didn't love you so damn much."
5. Wait.
6. He drives me insane, but I wouldn't have him any other way.
7. "Why?"
8. Like everything I do, you ignore me too.
9. If you tell me to go away, I will.
10. "I love you, is that ok?"
11. "So then I said..."
12. Character A cursed the sky for being so blue.
13. There's water as far as the eye can see.
14. "That's all I've got to say."
15. "Dance with me?"
16. "Hey."
17. It will all be ok tomorrow.
18. Once upon a time, I was happy.
19. I have a feeling that I'm making a mistake.
20. "What's wrong with that?"
21. Character A smothers a laugh as Character B applies eyeliner.
22. Your words cut me deeper than any knife could.
23. Character A smiled and answered the phone.
24. "I never thought watching someone sleep could be so perfect."
25. I'm awake, but this is all too perfect to be anything but a dream.
26. "I love you."
27. "Tell me something true."
28. There's nothing that scares me more.
29. "I hate you."
30. "Where are we?"
31. In the darkness, I feel like letting go.
32. Character A senses trouble on the horizon.
33. "Spit it out."
34. I fall, but you're always there to catch me.
35. "This reminds me of the time with the llama."
36. Ctrl, Alt, Delete
37. It all stared with Character A's dry cleaning.
38. "I'm against anything that plugs into an electrical socket."
39. It came in a cardboard box.
40. "Merry Christmas."
41. "There's nothing wrong with a good old-fashioned hootenanny."
42. I didn't realise it at the time.
43. It was like a lightbulb going off above my head.
44. "I don't know what I can offer you but my love."
45. I'll never forget that day.
46. The way your eyelashes rest on your cheeks when you sleep, it what I see as beautiful.
47. "I'm home."
48. Character A feels it in his bones.
49. "It's all too much for me to handle."
50. What is love?

Going with Caiden's challenge, I thought 50 first lines would be a good place to start.

So, that's it. All you gotta do now, is pick one and get to work! And feel free to pimp everywhere!
