Kentucky's Libertarians Select 2020 Nominees - Libertarian Party of Kentucky (original) (raw)

The Libertarian Party of Kentucky (LPKY) met in convention in Bardstown, Kentucky, on March 7 & 8. Delegates from across the state selected the 2020 Libertarian nominees for federal and state offices. Running for federal offices are Brad Barron (L) of Bowling green who is running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Mitch McConnell (R). Robert Perry (L) of Salvisa is running for the District 2, U.S. Congressional seat held by Brett Guthrie (R). Frank Harris (L) of Lexington is running for the District 6, U.S. Congressional seat held by Andy Barr (R). The Libertarians reserved the right to add more candidates, depending on what happens in the state’s primary election on May 19th.

During their state convention Kentucky’s Libertarians also selected delegates to the National Libertarian Convention in Austin, Texas, where the Libertarians will select their presidential nominee, starting May 21st.
