HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I hope yous all had a boss night. What did you get up to on New Years Eve?Last night was certainly an event. I went to Chibuku at BarFly. It was an 80s themed fancy dress so all my friends were dressed for the part. It was a last minute arrangement for me so I didn't have any 80s clothing prepared so I had to improvise with what I had. I wore a pair of jeans with the bottoms rolled up, and wore white sports socks with my black Converse. I had my most 80s looking retro t-shirt tucked into my jeans. I also wore black nail varnish and eye liner for some reason, and had my hair gelled to a side parting to look a bit preppyish. It looked shite but at least I made an effort. My friends Natalie and Nicola looked awesome, but they had more time to prepare and buy what they needed.BarFly was chocker, but the music was awesome and he had such a good boogie. There were quite a lot of people dressed in fancy dress. Most people were in 80s fashion, but some people were dressed as 80s characters. It was open until 3:00, but there was an afterparty at The Picket so we got a bus there.It was a fantastic night out, and a brilliant start to the new year! How was everybody's Halloween Night Out? Where did yous go? What did yous dress as?I had such an awesome night. I didn't touch a drop of alcohol and survived the night on just two bottles of water. I couldn't afford a costume so I found an old plain white t-shirt, got a pair of scissors and some leftover fake blood. It's not my best costume ever but it did the night.I first went to Baa Bar with my friends Sean, Laura, and Helen. We did a lot of boogieing in there. I then met more friends in Lloyd's Bar and then we went to The Office to meet more friends. I then headed to G-Bar and the music in there was bouncing. Dave Bennett was joined by guest DJ Anton Powers. The set was awesome!! I didn't stop dancing from the moment I got to G-Bar until it closed at 3:00.After G-Bar finished we went around town looking for a chippy/kebab shop. We were taking silly pictures on my camera with random statues around town, it was such a laugh and I wasn't even drunk.I took loads of pictures. You can check them all out here. It's A-Level results day, so I'm guessing town will be chocker tonight with students either celebrating or drowning their sorrows. Another mad night out in town last night. There were loads of us out. We headed to Heebie Jeebies, Baa Bar, Korova, Ca Va and La'go. We had such a good night and I got so drunk! Tom took me by surprise with a Chili Tequila. I can usually handle tequila ok, even without the salt and lemon, so I just took it straight away when he handed it too me. Oh I felt so ill.I noticed a guy eying me up in Heebies and he was dead cute, I was dead chuffed. He started smiling at me and waved to me, so I did the same. My friends wanted to move on, but I still hadn't spoke to him so I asked him to come over. He came over and this conversation happened:ME: Hi, I'm Dan.ALAN: Hey. I'm Alan.DAN: How are you, you having a good night?ALAN: Yes, are you?DAN: Yes. It's not usually my end of town but I'm having a boss night.ALAN: Where do you usually go?DAN: GBar, Navy. The gay scene.ALAN: Oh I haven't been there in about a year. I go the Krazyhouse.DAN: So are you gay?ALAN: No.DAN: No? Then why were you smiling at me and waving to me? I thought you fancied me, I was all chuffed!ALAN: Oh I don't know.DAN: Do you know me? Like off the Internet of something?ALAN: Maybe. I don't know.DAN: Oh right. Well I'm confused now. Oh well, my friends want to go to Baa Bar so maybe catch you later? Say hi if you catch me later on.ALAN: Ok, have a good night.DAN: You too, nice chattin to you.It was such a bizarre experience. I mean WHY smile and wave to me if you're straight? I was so confused. He was dead cute aswell, and seems like a really decent lad. I'd like to find a guy like him. Grrr oh well, maybe I'll see him out again and he'll tell me he really is gay.It was such a good night though. Was anybody else out? To say last night was the best night ever would be an understatement. It was fucking immense! I have never known anything quite like it before in my life, and I am lost for words to describe how awesome it was. The only thing I can think of describing it like is heroin. You take a hit of heroin and it feels so awesome that you're instantly addicted and you want more, and more, and more. No other drug you take will ever compare to heroin's pleasures. Well that was the GBoat last night. It was so fantastic that I didn't want it to ever end, and I want more, and more, and more. No night out (well not in the near future anyway) will ever compare to the sheer awesomness of last night! The music was just fantastic and the crowd was perfect.There was a big gang of 9 of us. I also made some new friends on the boat too. There were loads of people whom I knew on the boat.I was dressed as a sailor. I'm glad I wasn't the only one, there were quite a few people dressed up. Someone was dressed up as a bottle of beer, which I thought was quite random lol.We boogied non-stop until the boat docked back at Pier Head at midnight. Everyone was disappointed that the GBoat had ended, everyone had such a ball! But the night wasn't over and we all returned to the GBar. GBar was open until 4:00 and we all boogied hard.Through the entire night I spent just £5. That was £3 to get into GBar and £2 for a bottle of water. I was getting my friends to buy me drinks all night because I had no money. I was so drunk too!There will be lots of awesome images from the night. I took a disposable camera with me, my pictures are ready on Saturday. There will also be more pictures from my friends, and JaiB was taking pictures for the G-Bar website too.
