Integrative teaching methodology was implemented and realised during one academic year in 17 Latvian schools according with specially worked out programme by specialists of different fields for adaptation in social environment of children and young people with learning, cognitive functions and motor disorders. Implemented integrative teaching methodology consisted from three subsections which were specialised for adaptation in social environment, improvement of cognitive functions and improvement and harmonization of personality. The results of investigation showed that the use of integrative teaching methodology is an effective way for improvement of learning motivation and negotiation of learning disorders of different age schoolchildren.

By studying related subjects in an isolated manner the knowledge is acquired in a disorganized way. Therefore contemporary pedagogy demands the use of integrative teaching methodology to achieve the best results. An Integrative teaching methodology for children with learning difficulties and cognitive and motor disorders was used in 17 schools from different Latvian regions. Students acquired Integrative teaching methodology during one study year. Attention span and concentration abilities using Cognitron test from Vienna test system were estimated for 615 students before and after the acquiring of Integrative teaching methodology. The results of younger students have improved more than the results of older students after using this methodology. The largest increase of speed and accuracy of information processing was observed for 3-4 grade students of general schools.

Students attending schools with higher levels of bullying may show poorer school performance. The questionnaire of students and teachers from 3 Valmiera region schools was carried out. The results of questionnaire showed that students and teachers consider violence of adolescents as a serious problem. The majority of students often come to situations where their classmates are tampered. Many students and teachers consider that video security cameras must be installed in schools. Teachers think that more severe penalties must be applied for the perpetrator in the case of tampering the classmate. Students as well as teachers consider that interfacing problems of adolescents play a great role in teaching process.

Heart rate (HR), arterial blood pressure and baroreflex sensitivity (BRS) at rest, static workload, arterial occlusion and during recovery period were measured. 22 migraineurs (female, average age 22.2 ± 2.4 years) and 14 healthy age and gender matched controls participated. Migraine patients were divided into two groups (M1 and M2) according to HR and BRS at rest. At rest 60% of migraine patients (group M1) had significantly decreased HR vs. control group (P< 0.01). The M2 group showed a tendency to decreased BRS at rest comparing to the control group and significantly (P< 0.01) differed in this parameter from the M1 group. In a 10 s precontraction period M1 group had a significantly lower HR inc...

These difficulties depend on their age group development regularities. The aim of the research is to evaluate computer attention training software in comparison with vocal ensemble classes on the subject of adolescent attention focusing ability development. Participants – 24 adolescents (both sexes, average age 14 ± 0,87 years) were divided into three experimental groups – experimental group A (EGA), experimental group B (EGB) and control group (KG). Two methods of adolescent attention focusing skills development were tested:computer software package CogniPlus /Schuhfried, Austria/ was applied to EGB and EGA used training system designed by music teachers and psychologists. It is concluded that supplementing vocal ensemble classes with attention focusing skills development training makes possible bigger improvement of attention focusing skills compared to computer training software.
