| | Orlanda wins GOH status for surviving another birthday.Location Vienna VA: AmphoraTurnout: (9) Orlanda, Lisa Goldstein, Ann, happylion, dcseain, darrenzieger, keith_m043, wolfdancer, and myself fixx.Topics of discussion: -Orlanda's immediately upcoming birthday. -Syria, if the Russians are getting involved and which side they appear to be aligned with.-Ann brought a photo of the World's ugliest angler fish.-Ann also brought a printout of an article regarding the shortsightedness of those who recently erected a new building along the Thames in London which features a concave glass face which focuses sunlight and melts nearby cars. I seemed to be the only one present at this meeting who knew that the building was originally designed to have balconies on that side and had the balconies been installed, nearly all of the reflected sunlight would have been focused on the balconies themselves and there would not be an issue.
