Destiny 2: Revenant Act II – Content Showcase Breakdown (original) (raw)
Bungie will be releasing the second act of Revenant in Destiny 2 this upcoming Tuesday. What does this mean for us? New story missions to continue its ongoing narrative, of course. Pluuuuus… new weapons, Artifact mods, a Street Fighter 6 collaboration, and a reprisal of the Prison of Elders game mode from Destiny 1 called the “Tomb of Elders”. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming content drop!
Revenant Act 2 for Destiny 2 – Developer Stream Breakdown
The big-ticket item for Revenant Act 2 will be the Tomb of Elders. For those who did not play the original in Destiny 1, Tomb of Elders will be a wave-based activity spanning multiple rooms – I guess we can call it a modular arena. Each room will be themed around different enemy factions, such as The Tallen or The Hive. You’ll be able to earn three new legendary weapons if you play the Tomb of Elders in Destiny 2:
- The Noxious Vetiver Arc SMG – its origin perk allows for Dark Ether charges to drop when killing foes. Stepping over them will reload it from reserves.
- The Scavenger’s Fate Void Shotgun – its origin perk is the same as Noxious Vetiver.
- And the reprised Gridskipper Void Pulse Rifle – its origin perk will increase the weapon’s reload speed and handling after reloading it when you damage an enemy. This effect stacks, so hurray to unlimited reload speed and handling boosts!
You can also expect a ton of new artifact mods. Some will allow you to deal increased Arc damage against blinded foes, while others will make orbs of power drop when breaking a foe’s shield with their associated damage type.
Finally, there will be a few collaboration items from Capcom’s Street Fighter 6. These include ghost shells for Chun Li, Ryu, and Cammi.

Destiny 2: Revenant Act 2will go live on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam on November 19th.
