Hey folks... been a while since there's been a posting, and I'm sorry to say it, but I'm making this post to be the bearer of bad news. This post would be of interest to LWHS alumni of around my vintage - at the school between 1999 and 2002.

Some of you may have known a young woman named Lily Waluconis. She was a brilliant young lady, very involved in band, Japanese and other academic things. Those who graduated in 2002 (or were at the ceremony) might remember her name coming up quite a bit for honors and awards. Some of you may also know my brother, bolddeciever (aka Hunter), who was her high school sweetheart and, more recently, fiancé.

Well, I am very sad to say that Lily passed away last week. I don't feel like going into the details publically (as my brother has only posted information friends-only), but suffice to say that we are all very, very saddened by this loss.

Some of her friends from Carleton College in Minnesota put together a community for posting memories of Lily. If any of you spent time with Lily in high school (or even earlier!), I'm sure everyone there would love to hear about it. The community is lily_w_memories. Please, if you knew her, let us know what you remember.
