This is a community for Heathens and Asatruar. Yes, that's right, someone else is taking a whack at trying to create a successful communications forum for those of us who believe in the Norse/Germanic Gods.

The difference, however, is that this community is run EXCLUSIVELY by redsonja. What does that mean to you? It means that first of all I am going to begin the definition of this community by what it is NOT.

If you are a nithing obsessed with racism; homophobia; the need to play head games and politics on people you don't like; the flawed need to put ancestry before the calling of the Gods; or merely someone obsessed with the sick need to disrupt communications forums with trolling and idiocy; then in the rare case that you ever manifest yourself within this place, your time here will be extremely short and your impact minimal.

THIS IS A TROLL-FREE ZONE!

Being a part of this community is not a right - it is an earned priviledge based on trust. MY trust, and the mutual trust of those who look to me as the moderator of this frithgard. You will need to have one of them - or myself - speak for you before you enter this place. Once here you will share sacred hospitality, which is the manifestation of our mutual community trust.

Those willing to earn that trust can look forward to a place where discussion of religious issues is not disrupted. I am tired of having a small but vociferous pack of racists, sexists and homophobes marring our religious communities with their sickening need to exclude and shout down those whom the Gods have clearly called. Those who try to do this here will have the "exclusion" favor returned in spades, and there will be NO mercy and NO turning back once that decision is made. Freyja learned to choose, and so have we - and our terms are not based on blood and ancestry, sexuality or politics, skin color, or cliques and personality cults. Our terms are based on one thing only - LOVE AND TROTHFUL WORSHIP OF THE AESIR AND VANIR.

This is Lyfja Mountain. If you value what resides here, you'd better be ready to go through the fire and briar set up by one who herself has been tormented, ridiculed, scorned and excluded in the name of her steadfast beliefs. If you're here for the right reasons, time will tell. If you can pass Freya's test - if love of the Aesir and Vanir is the REAL reason you're here - you certainly should have no trouble passing mine... right?
