Official Rules

NOMINATIONS:

Nominate by posting a comment in the official nominations and list of categories thread. Comments are screened.

- All fics written before September 22, 2008 are eligible.
- No self-nomination. If you would like your fic to be considered for nomination, we recommend posting a link in the master fic list thread. (Fics do not, however, need to be listed on the master list thread to be nominated.)
- You may nominate the same fic for multiple categories
- Please post your nominations by category and provide the author's name/handle and a link to the fic.
- For multipart fics, please post either multiple links or a link to an index post/tag/memories category. We won't be picky about this; it's more important that folks are able to access and read these fics.

- The mods will not be informing each nominated author that his/her work is nominated; if the person you're nominating is not aware of the awards, by all means let him/her know.
- Anyone who would prefer their fic not be nominated may PM any of the mods.
- Only categories in which at least three fics are nominated will be open to voting.

Vote by posting a comment in the Official Nominees List and Voting Thread (to come).

- One vote per category, please.

VOTING CLOSES FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

WINNERS:

Winners will be announced on Saturday, November 1.

- There will be first, second, and third place in all categories. If competition is fierce and there are particularly high-scoring entries that don't place, Honorable Mentions will be given at the mods' discretion.
- All those who place will be given sexy and gorgeous banners.
