L. Sprague de Camp: The Tower of Zanid. Extraterrestrial Kipling.
P. J. Carisella and James W. Ryan: Who Killed the Red Baron? Very interesting account of Richthofen's military career and examination of the conflicting evidence on who brought him down. Somewhat marred by the authors' obvious lack of knowledge of German.
Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl (in English). Very grim, but it provides a lot of insight.
Phil and Kaja Foglio: Agatha H. and the Airship City. Novelization of the first two volumes of Girl Genius. Hardly great literature, but fun.
Arthur Conan Doyle: The Hound of the Baskervilles (reread). One of the great mystery novels.
Vadim Jean: Terry Pratchett's Hogfather, The Illustrated Screenplay. The script of a very good adaptation.
