Dear 4EU+ community,

As 2023 draws to a close, we can look back at a year that has been all about growing together. We welcomed a new member, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, into our alliance, marking a notable expansion of our academic family. In parallel, the collective expertise and experience of all eight institutions have continued to deepen. We launched two important initiatives, SEED4EU+ and the 4EU+ Visiting Professorships, through which our community has grown larger and stronger.

The initial year of the 1CORE project has successfully laid the groundwork in pursuit of our mission to establish One Comprehensive Research-Intensive European University. Concurrently, the TRAIN4EU+ project, concluding its three-year journey, has made significant contributions to refining our Research & Innovation agendas and bolstering support mechanisms within our alliance.

4EU+ representatives, encompassing a diverse mix of students, faculty and staff, have organised and actively participated in various impactful events that fostered interactions not just within our alliance but also across the European academic sphere, enriching our community's engagement and reach.

All in all, there is much for us to be proud of and celebrate. Enjoy the holiday season as a time to rest and rejoice in both your professional and personal achievements. Let us carry forward the spirit of collaboration that has been our strength, and look forward to continuing to grow together in the year ahead!
