Based on the systematic literature review method, this paper delivers a complete understanding of the notion of society 5.0, including its workings, social problems it addresses, and obstacles it faces in India. Additionally, it is claimed that the integration of physical and cyberspace will improve quality of life by enabling the development of super smart societies.

The stock market provides for mobilization and allocation of savings in an efficient manner. Due to globalization, stock markets play an important role in the development of economies. Various factors increase the level of risk and uncertainty faced by the stock markets due to which stock markets often experience fluctuations. Therefore, measurement of volatility of the stock market returns becomes necessary to decrease this uncertainty. Simply put, volatility is the extent to which the price of the security or asset changes with returns. It measures the level of risk associated with the price fluctuations of a security. Standard deviation of annual returns over a period of time is calculated in order to estimate volatility. Higher the volatility, higher is the risk in security and vice versa. There are number of factors which cause volatility in stock market like rate of inflation, economic crisis, social and political factors, changes in economic policy, economic indicators etc. To control the impact caused by these factors various steps are taken like margin trading, pre open sessions, price bands, circuit breakers etc.

Methods: A systematic bibliometric analysis was conducted on a selected corpus of scholarly publications related to banking digitalisation. The data were collected from reputable academic databases and carefully curated to ensure relevance and quality. Various bibliometric indicators, including citation counts, co-citation analysis, and co-authorship analysis, were employed to analyse the literature and identify influential authors, journals, and research themes. Findings: The findings of the bibliometric analysis reveal a significant growth in research output on banking digitalisation over the past decade. The analysis identified several influential authors who have contributed substantially to the field. The most frequently cited works revolve around digital banking channels, customer adoption of digital services, technological innovation, and the impact of digitalisation on banking performance. The employees of participated in this study to investigate the relationship between financial literacy and retirement planning. Since the purpose of the study was to investigate the connection between financial literacy and retirement planning, a quantitative method was selected as the appropriate method for conducting the research. The data collection instrument was in the form of a structured questionnaire that was completed by the participants themselves. According to the findings of the study, having a strong understanding of personal finance has a large and favourable impact on being prepared for retirement. The recommendations were based on the necessity for employers to increase the number of publications on financial education at the University Library. In addition, the results of this research suggest that a national policy on financial literacy as soon as possible in order to teach people when they are still in the formative stages of their lives.

This research investigates whether bank mergers can boost shareholder value by taking example of India. The RBI regulates the Indian banking sector. The research includes information on 2019 banking megamergers. Financial statements from 2017-2018 to 2020-2021 have been analyzed. The Du Pont Model analyzed pre-and post-merger acquisition. The Du Pont model helps determine a company's owners' worth by separating the components that affect return on equity (ROE). ROE helps assess a company's strengths and weaknesses by focusing on financial performance. This approach splits ROE into profit margin, asset utilization, and financial leverage and shows a positive association between them. The mean and standard deviation are used to compare data from before and after the merger. The term "basic financial planning" refers to having a fundamental understanding of a variety of ... more The term "basic financial planning" refers to having a fundamental understanding of a variety of financial topics, including but not limited to: budgeting; interest rates; the time value of money; inflation; debit-credit; money management; investment; banking products; risk-return; and so on. A lack of fundamental financial knowledge can lead to inefficient decision making, which can then result in losses. The demographic factor, socioeconomic factors, educational level, workplace activity, and other factors all have an impact on the fundamental level of financial planning. In some instances, one or more of these factors might be the most important, while in others, they might not be relevant at all. For effective policy making, it is essential to have a solid understanding of the impact that such factors have on the basic financial awareness level of the general population. As a result, the purpose of this study is to investigate the level of basic financial planning practised by people living in Delhi and the National Capital Region. A non-parametric test of independent samples known as the Kruskal-Wallis test and a Mann-Whitney U test were used to conduct the analysis on the data that was collected. According to the findings of the study, there is a discernible gap in the level of fundamental financial knowledge between the various age groups. On the other hand, the study discovered that the fundamental financial planning level did not vary significantly according to gender, employment status, or educational level.

Despite being largely acknowledged in developed economies, these strategies are commonly employed in developing countries like India. The event study approach is applied in this study to assess the consequences of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) on the value of stocks performance in India's banking sector from 2013 to 2020. The market study approach has used to determine the Abnormal return (AR) and Cumulative abnormal return (CAR) in order to analyze how the phenomena affected share prices prior to and following the occurrence. Event window has been used for this purpose for 81 days (40, 40), whereas estimate window is 200 days. The findings show divergent results on the M&A activity influence the stock price performance. Research findings reveal that while few banks saw positive AR and CAR following the M&A, the bulk of banks experienced negative returns. Overall, the results reveal that the market's response to the recurrence of M&As in India's banking sector has unfavorable. Findings may be useful in providing managers and investors with new views while making investment-related decisions.

This paper aims to study the impact of training on employee's Satisfaction, Commitment and Retent... more This paper aims to study the impact of training on employee's Satisfaction, Commitment and Retention in leading hotels in Chandigarh, and to find out possible aspects for improvements through Human Resource strategies. Training & growth was calculated by four things (questions) and though staff contentment variable is calculated by eight items. To analyze the assumption parametric data (e.g., Pearson correlation, ANOVA) and regression analysis was applied. For creating the variables generally distributed variables were altered through function of Log10 for standard allocation of variables. This transformed whole scale score of employee fulfillment, dedication and retention were used as the relied variable and four items of training and development taken in to consideration as the autonomous variables to carry out the investigation and to check the hypothesis. The results determined that providing training is completely related to superior worker satisfaction, commitment and retention.

The paper divided the time period into three parts: pre-crisis period (From April, 2005 to June, 2007); during the crisis period (From July, 2007 to Dec, 2010) and post crisis period (From Jan, 2011 to June, 2013). Then to study the impact on NSE (Nifty 50) Index and selected Indices firstly, the normality test was applied on all sectoral indices. Histogram and Jarque-Bera statistics showed that data was not normal for all indices in all the three periods, but variations were high during the crisis period for all indices. ADF test results showed that the series were stationary in pre, during and post crisis period. Next ARCH LM tests confirmed the ARCH effect was presents in all indices for pre, during and post crisis period. After confirmation of ARCH effect E-GARCH model was applied to measure the asymmetric behavior of volatility in selected stock indices was a best fit model among the three models on the basis of less AIC and SC values criteria.

This paper explores the use of Big Data and data analytics in identifying, assessing, managing and disclosing the business activities of the hospitality industry. The survey results indicate that: (1) the demand for and interest in Big Data/data analytics will continue to increase in the hospitality industry; (2) Big Data / data analytics should be integrated into business strategic decisions and operational processes; and (3) the use of Big Data / data analytics in the hospitality industry includes occupancy forecasting, examining operational efficiency, developing a data warehouse, collecting and assessing customer reviews, improving staff training and retention, and securing customer satisfaction and loyalty. The research develops a theoretical model that highlights the determinants of adoption of online ... more The research develops a theoretical model that highlights the determinants of adoption of online teaching at the time of the outbreak of COVID 19. Empirical data was gathered from 643 school teachers by means of an online survey. The proposed conceptual framework was investigated empirically by means of confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings of the study revealed performance expectancy, and facilitating conditions had a positive impact on behavioural intention as well as attitude. However, effort expectancy failed to drive teachers' adoption to online teaching. On the other hand, social influence had insignificant relationship with attitude but significant relationship with behavioural intention. Attitude had a significant impact on behavioural intention as well as actual use. This study contributes to the literature by presenting and validating a theory-driven framework that accentuates the factors influencing online teaching during outbreak of a pandemic.

The data collection instrument was in the form of a structured questionnaire that was completed by the participants themselves. According to the findings of the study, having a strong understanding of personal finance has a large and favourable impact on being prepared for retirement. The recommendations were based on the necessity for employers to increase the number of publications on financial education at the University Library. A lack of fundamental financial knowledge can lead to inefficient decision making, which can then result in losses. The demographic factor, socioeconomic factors, educational level, workplace activity, and other factors all have an impact on the fundamental level of financial planning. In some instances, one or more of these factors might be the most important, while in others, they might not be relevant at all. For effective policy making, it is essential to have a solid understanding of the impact that such factors have on the basic financial awareness level of the general population. As a result, the purpose of this study is to investigate the level of basic financial planning practised by people living in Delhi and the National Capital Region. A non-parametric test of independent samples known as the Kruskal-Wallis test and a Mann-Whitney U test were used to conduct the analysis on the data that was collected. According to the findings of the study, there is a discernible gap in the level of fundamental financial knowledge between the various age groups. On the other hand, the study discovered that the fundamental financial planning level did not vary significantly according to gender, employment status, or educational level.

Despite being largely acknowledged in developed economies, these strategies are commonly employed in developing countries like India. The event study approach is applied in this study to assess the consequences of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) on the value of stocks performance in India's banking sector from 2013 to 2020. The market study approach has used to determine the Abnormal return (AR) and Cumulative abnormal return (CAR) in order to analyze how the phenomena affected share prices prior to and following the occurrence. Event window has been used for this purpose for 81 days (40, 40), whereas estimate window is 200 days. The findings show divergent results on the M&A activity influence the stock price performance. Research findings reveal that while few banks saw positive AR and CAR following the M&A, the bulk of banks experienced negative returns. Overall, the results reveal that the market's response to the recurrence of M&As in India's banking sector has unfavorable. Findings may be useful in providing managers and investors with new views while making investment-related decisions.

Training & growth was calculated by four things (questions) and though staff contentment variable is calculated by eight items. To analyze the assumption parametric data (e.g., Pearson correlation, ANOVA) and regression analysis was applied. For creating the variables generally distributed variables were altered through function of Log10 for standard allocation of variables. This transformed whole scale score of employee fulfillment, dedication and retention were used as the relied variable and four items of training and development taken in to consideration as the autonomous variables to carry out the investigation and to check the hypothesis. The results determined that providing training is completely related to superior worker satisfaction, commitment and retention.

The paper divided the time period into three parts: pre-crisis period (From April, 2005 to June, 2007); during the crisis period (From July, 2007 to Dec, 2010) and post crisis period (From Jan, 2011 to June, 2013). Then to study the impact on NSE (Nifty 50) Index and selected Indices firstly, the normality test was applied on all sectoral indices. Histogram and Jarque-Bera statistics showed that data was not normal for all indices in all the three periods, but variations were high during the crisis period for all indices. ADF test results showed that the series were stationary in pre, during and post crisis period. Next ARCH LM tests confirmed the ARCH effect was presents in all indices for pre, during and post crisis period. After confirmation of ARCH effect E-GARCH model was applied to measure the asymmetric behavior of volatility in selected stock indices was a best fit model among the three models on the basis of less AIC and SC values criteria.

Empirical data was gathered from 643 school teachers by means of an online survey. The proposed conceptual framework was investigated empirically by means of confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings of the study revealed performance expectancy, and facilitating conditions had a positive impact on behavioural intention as well as attitude. However, effort expectancy failed to drive teachers' adoption to online teaching. On the other hand, social influence had insignificant relationship with attitude but significant relationship with behavioural intention. Attitude had a significant impact on behavioural intention as well as actual use. This study contributes to the literature by presenting and validating a theory-driven framework that accentuates the factors influencing online teaching during outbreak of a pandemic.
